Five apartments, two in the same building and three and three different others, all of them were a go for him. This time, the only constellation Brandon had was the fact he was not alone. Megan had decided to join him and they had taken her car as they followed the broker to the apartments.
"I don't know." Megan murmured getting into the car after Brandon, "it did not feel like a Home. While you are quite a plain person, those were just not it."
"Plain person?" Brandon echoed. "What do you mean by me being a plane person? Am I Not… Colourful enough?"
He was humorous, he could crack a joke, laugh at one and not take it personally. What more did it take to not be the person in the group?
"I mean," Megan chuckled, "I can't just explain it to you. Take the left. You're just not, well.."
If anything is more insulting, it was the way he had to do after. Could he not even get a reason why he was not colourful enough?
"What am I, not American enough?" He threw the insult back.
