"Okay," Bran sighed and against the warnings of his brain, leaned slightly into Killian, "I will start."
"About the time I was going to be five, my parents passed away from visiting my aunt's house. My grandfather was in another car behind them, but they took the hit the most."
He gulped, emotions already clogging his throat. "I-"
"If it hurts you to tell, you don't have to." Killian interrupted him.
Slightly open mouth, still from the point where he was about to speak, Brandon turned his head slightly to look at Killian. His boyfriend, sincere, concerned when he heard how grief was coming into his voice. For once, he was grateful of the fact that Killian was interrupting because it made it seem like he cared enough to notice.
