Chapter 231 - 231 New Target, North Blue

During the New Year holiday, Lynch spent a day with his family visiting shrines and enjoying the festivities.

The next day, he dove into his busy work.

"North Blue!" Lynch thought, already planning his next move.

His target was North Blue. The four Blues—North, West, East, and South—are separated by the Calm Belt, which means traveling between them requires passing through the Reverse Mountain in the center of the Red Line.

But Lynch, having mastered the techniques for navigating the Calm Belt, didn't have to worry about it at all.

To travel from West Blue to East Blue or South Blue, one would have to cross the Red Line. However, to reach North Blue, all Lynch needed to do was travel straight through the Calm Belt.

For someone like him, who had mastered the Calm Belt's navigation, reaching North Blue from West Blue was a simple task.

The Calm Belt separates the West Blue from the North Blue, creating two distinct sea areas. However, if you disregard the Calm Belt, the two seas are almost bordering each other.

This presents a huge advantage. If Lynch doesn't take advantage of it, it would be a wasted opportunity.

By controlling both sea areas, Lynch can use the Red Line as a natural barrier and establish the two northwest seas as his base, making it possible for him to challenge the world on his own.

As long as the key passages between Taishan Mountain and the World Government are secured, large enemy forces won't be able to invade these seas. Unless an army can cross the entire Red Line, no one can enter the northwest seas.

With this strategy, Lynch would become a true local emperor, nearly invincible. Unlike the Four Emperors or the revolutionaries, he would create a true faction of princes, dividing the world.

In the two northwest seas, he would reign as king!

The plan is promising, but executing it will require careful thought.

Lynch currently controls West Blue and is learning from past mistakes.

The Germa family once controlled North Blue for 66 days. If they hadn't ignored the World Government's warnings repeatedly, the World Government might not have bothered with them at all.

However, the Five Elders seem to particularly despise Lynch. Since he took over West Blue, they've launched two big attacks against him.

The first attack came when four Admiral-level fighters were sent to besiege West Blue.

Remarkably, none of the Four Emperors have faced such treatment. The Five Elders and Saint Saturn personally oversaw the battle, with the Admirals determined not to let Lynch survive.

At that time, the outside world only saw one Admiral in West Blue: Lynch. Fortunately, he survived.

The second attempt was at Cake Island. The World Government saw that Lynch was alone—no other Admiral-level officers like Gion, or any of his subordinates, were present. They didn't hesitate to launch the Cake Island destruction plan, which had been in the works for years, just to eliminate Lynch.

They didn't hesitate to use poison, even affecting the dogs on the island.

Speaking of bad luck, Big Mom was caught in the middle. If it weren't for Lynch, her Cake Island plan would have been delayed by several years.

The World Government sent four Admirals—Garp, Kizaru, Akainu, and Saint Saturn—along with two Half-Step Admirals, Crazy Tokikake and World Destroyer Byrnndi World. They also deployed a large number of elite Vice Admirals, the top CP0 agents, and tens of thousands of CP members.

It was an incredibly risky operation.

At the most dangerous moment, Big Mom had a eating disorder and fight with Kaido, leaving Lynch to face four Admirals at once.

If it weren't for Tom's help, Lynch would probably have had to use the transfer scroll to escape temporarily. Without it, he likely would have died there.

Facing four Admirals at once is something no one in the world could survive. No one!

If he tried to run, he would still be up against four Admirals, and even escaping was uncertain.

After considering everything, the World Government failed to account for Tom's combat strength at the time.

Just after taking control of West Blue, Lynch faced two major attacks from the World Government. Their actions seemed aimed at his destruction.

Sadly, the last person to be targeted in such a way by the World Government was Rocks Pirates, the overlord of the previous era.

Except for him and Rocks, neither the Four Emperors nor the Revolutionary Army have been treated this way by the World Government.

This shows just how much the World Government despises him.

Lynch is worried that once the World Government learns he's involved in North Blue, they might ignore all other threats and focus entirely on eliminating him. That would be disastrous.

After all, they barely tolerate him controlling a quarter of the land. But if he takes half, it would be a serious issue.

With only half of the land left, the question becomes: who controls it?

At that point, if the World Government stops worrying about the Four Emperors or the Revolutionary Army and instead focuses all their Admiral forces on destroying him, Lynch would have to face a full-scale attempt on his life.

How should he prepare for that?

"To be on the safe side, there's only one solution: recruit new people!" Lynch thought.

He needed to send individuals the World Government had never encountered before to North Blue to stir up trouble. These people must be fully distanced from him.

They would need to possess significant strength and leadership skills, along with enough political savvy. Most importantly, they should have no ties to Lynch.

With that in mind, his only choice was to try drawing a few new characters from several lottery pools.

He checked his current faith points: 5.3 million.

Opening the lottery interface, he saw:

Bronze Lottery Pool: 100 Faith points

Silver Lottery Pool: 1,000 Faith points

Gold Lottery Pool: 10,000 Faith points

Hokage Lottery Pool: 1,000 Faith points

Crayon Shin-chan Lottery Pool: 100 Faith points

Kobayashi's Dragon Maid Lottery Pool: 10,000 Faith points

Now, he had to decide which pool to invest in.

Lynch had developed a habit of casually drawing two shots when he had nothing to do. Over time, this led him to unlock two new lottery pools: Crayon Shin-chan and Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, neither of which he had tried yet.

"Crayon Shin-chan? It should be cheap, but the people in it seem like ordinary folks," Lynch thought. Then, he paused.

He realized that while Shin-chan's family seemed like regular people, they had actually traveled through time and space, defeated aliens, and saved the world... that was a lot more than ordinary!

He decided to save this lottery pool for later, thinking that if he had some points left, he could give it a try.

As for Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, Lynch knew that while the dragon girls were incredibly powerful and beautiful, their most notable traits were their outstanding figures and, frankly, ridiculously large breasts.

In Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, the dragon girls below D-cup size are often considered underwhelming.

Generally, most fall into the F+ range, and the largest, like Elulu, is said to have a K-cup, which is particularly massive. It's rumored that her size is due to magma filling the cups, making them both impressive and intimidating.

However, most of the dragon girls in this world don't have much intelligence. In fact, they're often more showy than smart.

They may all be "charming" dragon ladies with big breasts, but not much else going on upstairs.

The thought of involving them in developing North Blue made Lynch shudder.
