Chapter 1 - 補充兵RECRUIT

They say university is a time for growth. A time to become your own person. I had spent Highschool rather serendipitously; I never thought about who or what I wanted to be. I was just Jin Fudanshi, normal male student at 国際 Kokusai High. I tried my best at school and spent my free time playing video games. I never had any romances or flings—just sorted of drifted by. I was an ordinary student expecting to attend an ordinary university and work an ordinary job. Then maybe I'd die. But of course, everything had to change.

"You've been accepted into 権限 Kengen University."

The man wore a jet black suit. His hair was gelled and slicked back. The silence that followed was almost palpable. What brought me back to reality was the faint 𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 of a nearby clock.

"I don't understand, isn't that an all girl's school?"

"Yes. Even so, we're offering a full ride scholarship."

"But-"

"You'll be the first and only male student to attend."

I scratched the back of my head.

"Kengen University is one of the most prestigious schools in Tokyo. I'm not even-"

He pushed a pencil into a sleek electric sharpener. The machine's grinding rumbled and drowned out my pleas of concern.

"Listen, Fudanshi. To tell you the truth, I'm as perplexed as you are."

His eyes sagged before then glaring me down. He must have expected someone intelligent and handsome, but sitting before him was just me. As mundane as they come.

"If you enroll, you will be the first male to attend our institution. As well as the first student who never even applied. To be frank, I don't know what's going on. But the higher ups are adamant about you."

I wondered what mother and father would think. They'd been off on a lavish trip in Europe since last month. They wouldn't get back until next year. I thought about messaging them but I was still upset that they left during such a transformative part of my life. Maybe this could be a surprise for them. A degree from Kengen could get any job in Japan.

"I'll- I'll do it." I stuttered.

A stack of papers dropped before me.

"Great. Now fill these out."

The reality of my decision didn't fully set in for a while. It hadn't set in until I finished the rest of my lousy semester at high school. Or until I finished grinding out each game on my Nintendo Switch. Or even until my high school's graduation ceremony came and went. But when it did, I was already standing at the gates of my new university.

I'm supposed to go in there... An all girl's school...

Cherry trees stretched upward. Beyond them were even larger structures; the Tokyo city scape. Pink blossoms drifted by and gently fell to the ground. I sucked in a breath and stepped forward. Sunlight washed over me as I took my first step into my school's courtyard.

Immediately, I was enamored by the surrounding students. In every direction there were beautiful and tantalizing girls. I was shocked at how revealing the school uniforms were. They wore knee high socks that wrapped around their plush thighs. Tight skirts draped down each of their figures. I couldn't help but stare—I was shocked at how each and every girl had enormous cleavage. My cheeks flushed with each bouncing and wobbling chest that passed by. The students chatted and laughed with cutesy mannerisms. They all looked like models, beautiful girls you'd only see online but never in real life. If someone were trying to gather the most gorgeous students in all of Japan then this would be the place to find them.

"What are you staring at?" Rasped a voice.

I turned my head to see a student glaring me down. She had fair skin, rose colored hair, and carried a wavering scent of strawberries. Everything about her screamed 'pink'. From her cutesy dress shoes, to her tight thigh socks, to her mini skirt which hardly concealed her panties with a fluffy bow on top. Each article of clothing was a shade of pink. Her dress shirt looked as if it were going to pop open at any moment due to her massive chest.

"I... Nothing." I weakly replied.

"You're the new student, right?"

She looked me up and down imposingly.

"The male one?"

The sound of whispering and muttering could be heard. Before I knew it, a crowd had formed. They all stared at me with shock and awe. It was like I was an animal at the zoo.

"No one wants you here. So why don't you save us all the trouble and leave?"

With each word uttered, her bubbly chest wobbled. I couldn't help but stare right at it. Her cheeks turned a wine red tone.

"Don't look there!"

Her hand came thundering down and slapped me across the face. I stumbled back from the pain, my mind reeling.

I feel this kind of thing would only happen in an anime...

"Akiko, cut it out." Bellowed a voice.

A lanky figure stepped into the area, her dress shoes thundering against the floor. Instantly, the room fell silent. My gaze fell upon a set of plush and smooth legs enwrapped in tights. My eyes followed them to catch a glimpse of silky undergarments from underneath her skirt. A tightly clad dress shirt covered her plump breasts.

"Pleased to meet you, Fudanashi. I'll be your professor."

I stared in amazement.

"You can call me Hasegawa."

I realized I was frozen in place. I was a drooling boy overwhelmed by the light of a goddess.

"Nice to meet you...." I uttered.

"Class is down the hall and to the right. Please get situated while I deal with Akiko."

I bowed respectively and ambled down the corridor. As I went ahead I could hear the whispers and murmurs of the female students behind me. I don't know why but this all feels so surreal. Why are there so many beautiful girls here? And more importantly, why was I enrolled? In that moment I had made up my mind. I was going to get to the bottom of this.
