Chapter 12 - Ch. 12

"Well, here's what happened" said Tatsuya as he began to explain what had happened during his meeting with Koro-sensei

 ~Flashback~

"Let's talk business," said Koro-sensei, having his fun cut short by the sudden appearance by the tall pale man that had entered the café right after Tatsuya, "Shuchi'in academy needs you, Tatsuya"

"Uh… Sorry?" Said Tatsuya, not fully knowing how to respond to his former teachers sudden declaration, "sorry, a lot is currently happening that I simply cannot talk about, especially out in the open like we are right now" explained Koro-sensei, as he motioned to the constant flow of people entering the café, "but right now, all that you need to know is that there is currently a big problem plaguing the academy, and I need you" he pointed at Tatsuya as he said, "to help me solve this problem"

"Right, well I'm gonna need a little bit more than that to get me on board with whatever little problem you currently have going on," said Tatsuya as he crossed his arms and leaned back in his seat, stubbornly refusing to be apart of anything headache inducing before fully grasping what was needed of him

"You really haven't changed, huh?" Responded Koro-sensei with a wry grin, "Alright, alright. I'll explain"

"Last year Shuchi'in academy got a new headmaster, goes by the name Gakuho Asano" said Koro-sensei, the name sounding vaguely familiar to Tatsuya, but not quite putting a face to the name Tatsuya couldn't help but ask, "And why is that so bad?"

"Within the year that he has been the academy's active headmaster he has already made long strides in changing how the place works, his most notable of which are his changes to the schools academic policies," explained Koro-sensei, "Under the guise that Shuchi'in academy is a high class place to learn from, those that are deemed unfit to study there are simply to be expelled" after he finished his last sentence, a shiver was sent down Tatsuya's spine, 'now I know why that name sounded so familiar, this is that one guy that was hell bent on getting rid of those he deemed to be faulty products of society…'

"He was able to get this change instated by pandering to those that fund the school, and if he keeps going, at this pace he's going to cause more damage to the students that take a little more time on the up take" he said

"Okay, but how does that involve me?" asked Tatsuya, grasping the severity of the situation but not fully understanding how he was supposed to do anything about it, "You see the pale guy over there? The one that walked in right after you?" Responded Koro-sensei, motioning to the tall pale man, "Mm." Tatsuya responded with a slight nod

"He's currently in leagues with Asano to do the same, but with a different school, and while measures have been placed by a dear friend of mine to help undermine them on that side of things, I need your help to undermine Asano on this side of things," said Koro-sensei, "If we are able to get you into Shuchi'in academy, we can disrupt their little plans and rip the rug right from under them, with a little help from the Shuchi'in student council which has been at the forefront protesting these changes, it's only a matter of time before we can deal the figurative killing blow," after he finished his explanation, Koro-sensei simply drank his coffee, giving Tatsuya a moment to gather his thoughts, this wasn't a simple task after all, and if he had any other choice he wouldn't have reached out to Tatsuya in the first place, but after the headmaster's first change was made, Koro-sensei realized this situation was too much for him to handle on his own

'I really shouldn't get involved with this…' Thought Tatsuya as he rubbed his temples, but the idea that some people were to be punished over the simple fact that they didn't fit the already rigid standards of the academy was too much for even him to turn a blind eye to, 'plus, I'm pretty sure those two would blow a fuse if they knew I could've helped but chose not to,' and after a few moments of silence Tatsuya finally spoke, "Alright, I'll lend you a hand, but on one condition"

"If it is within my power to do so, I promise I will help" said Koro-sensei, a serious look of determination on his face, "My two friends, Kurayama and Akira, I want them to be recommended for entry alongside me." Said Tatsuya, using this as an opportunity to benefit not only himself but also his friends, "If I have those two with me, this new headmaster of yours won't last another year"

"Hm, that might be a little trickier to do, having not only one recommendation but three is sure to draw attention, are you certain that these two friends of yours are going to be worth it?" Asked Koro-sensei in response, Tatsuya nodded his head, "Of course, while I may not be much to write home about, those two are rising stars in their own respective fields" as Tatsuya said this, he went on to explain Kurayama's extreme talent for books smarts and Akira's insane talent for all that is physical

"Okay, if these two are as good as you say, having them in our corner is sure to tip the scales even further in our favor, you have my word" said Koro-sensei

 ~End flashback~

"Woah wait, isn't this the same principal guy that basically turned the assassination classroom school into what it was in the show?" Said Akira as he recalled how exactly torturous the school was, "Yup, that same guy" said Tatsuya in response

"Sorry for getting you guys involved in all of this" Tatsuya said as he slightly bowed his head, "Nah man, don't worry about that," responded Akira as he waved his hand in dismissal, "This is the same guy that was literally ruining kid's lives because they didn't know how to study properly," said Kurayama, while he had always been above average when it came to his grades, he understood that not everyone was like him, not everyone could sit still and study the same thing for hours on end, he simply could not fathom ruining someone's life over that simple fact, instead of helping give these students the extra push they needed, Asano simply threw them aside, and both Kurayama and Akira could not accept this

"Yeah, I figured you'd say that" Chuckled Tatsuya in response as he had already predicted how his friends would react to the news

"So how is Totsuki dealing with this?" Asked Akira, "I think they're doing the same thing Koro-sensei sought me out to do, send someone over as a student to cause an uproar big enough to topple them over" Said Tatsuya in response to his friends question, "If I had to guess though, this is probably around the same time that Soma was sent to Totsuki by his father in the anime" said Kurayama, recalling the events of season one in the food wars anime

"Right, I was thinking the same thing" responded Akira, "Wait before we continue, was Koro-sensei also a yellow octopus like in the show?" Asked Akira, wondering what the teacher looked like in this world

"No, he actually looked pretty human," said Tatsuya

"I'm guessing the whole science experiment thing hasn't happened in this world, I wonder if he's still an assassin?" Asked Kurayama, as he pondered the implications of this piece of news

"About that, he was somehow able to make his presence less notable when Erina's dad walked into the café, something straight out of a, well… anime" responded Tatsuya, as he recalled his future teacher's skill to make himself less notable

"Yeah, I guess that mean's he at least has the skill set of one… though that brings into question, if those assassination organizations are present in this world, how did it receive such a low danger rating?" asked Akira as he thought that assassins would surely make the world have a higher rating, no?

"To be fair, if we look at all the other anime that could have been present in this world, human assassins are by far the safest thing to encounter when you think of like, the dragon ball world or high school dxd and the likes" said Kurayama as he recalled the absurd fight he'd watched with his friends on screen
