<[New Fanfic Is UP: [Naruto: I Have A Gravity Training Room]>
[News!! I decided to do 2 chapters per day in this fanfic!! Thanks for your support!]
Thanos: "Hmph. You all see this as the worst-case scenario, but to me, this is the ultimate weapon."
Doctor Strange: "What did you just say?!"
Thanos: "Isn't it obvious? The Xenomorphs are the perfect biological weapon. Their terrifying learning capabilities, combined with their overwhelming physical strength, make them superior to most alien species. With the right conditioning, I could form an unstoppable army!"
Odin: "Arrogant fool! And what makes you think you can control such a vast swarm of Xenomorphs?"
Thanos: "Because I have the Mind Stone."
Odin: "What?!"
Daigo: "Mind Stone? What's that?"
Ancient One: "It is an Infinity Stone—an artifact of immense power capable of controlling consciousness itself. Any creature that comes into contact with the Mind Stone can be brought under its wielder's control."
Daigo: "Your universe has artifacts that powerful?! If that's true, then yeah… he really could command a Xenomorph army!"
Tony Stark: "Alright, let's not jump to conclusions. We don't even know if Xenomorphs will appear in our universe."
Hypnos: "Recruiting Xenomorphs? What an amusing idea. Maybe we should try incorporating them into the Underworld Army as well."
Alone: "Forget it. I don't want those disgusting things in my ranks."
Thanatos: "Agreed."
Manigoldo: "For once, you guys actually said something reasonable."
[Prediction of the Next SCP: "The Hour Has Come Bird"]
As the voice from the screen faded, an image appeared—depicting a particularly eerie creature.
The entity was roughly humanoid but exhibited multiple avian characteristics, the most prominent being its beak-like face. Its elongated, emaciated body had undefined limbs, lacking distinct fingers. Its entire form was covered in thick, hardened skin, including its beak.
[The Hour Has Come Bird: SCP Report]
"The Hour Has Come Bird is a creature with a humanoid build but avian-like traits. Its irregular body structure lacks conventional skeletal outlines. Its cervical vertebrae are disconnected, allowing for independent movement from one another."
"It continuously rotates its vertebrae in sequence, starting from the base of the neck all the way up to its head. This motion follows a rhythmic pattern and produces distinct cracking or snapping sounds.
The creature ceases this neck movement only when it is about to attack."
"It has been observed to stalk its victims for extended periods before launching an attack, with cases lasting up to 10 months.
The creature kills its prey using its appendages, delivering blunt-force trauma and tearing them apart. Afterward, it feeds on the corpse, with a single adult human body sustaining it for approximately three months."
"The Hour Has Come Bird is believed to be the central figure in numerous German folklore legends.
Records of its existence date back to 1538, with written and artistic depictions from that era. Several German nursery rhymes are also thought to reference the creature."
"Although the SCP Foundation has successfully contained one specimen, new sightings and incidents continue to emerge in its country of origin, suggesting that the Hour Has Come Bird is not a singular entity, but an entire species that exists across the world."
[Playback of Recorded Footage: "The Hour Has Come Bird"]
The video transitioned to an incident report from Freiburg, Germany.
A local resident, Charles, had reported that he was being followed daily and could constantly hear eerie, rhythmic cracking sounds.
"At first, Charles thought he was simply hallucinating from exhaustion and dismissed it.
But the phenomenon persisted. It didn't just happen every day—it occurred every second of his life."
"No matter where he went, he would hear that rhythmic cracking noise… and sense someone following him."
"Day after day, hour after hour, the ceaseless terror drove him to the brink of insanity.
In desperation, he called the police, explaining his situation. But despite an extensive investigation, the authorities found no evidence of anyone following him. The police began to suspect that Charles was suffering from a mental breakdown."
"Seeking reassurance, Charles underwent a psychological evaluation. But the doctors found no signs of mental illness.
All they could do was prescribe him sleep medication and advise him to rest."
"However, the condition only worsened. His sanity continued to deteriorate, and his daily life became unbearable."
"When the SCP Foundation received Charles's report, they immediately took notice.
There was one contained SCP within their records that matched the exact description of his experience—the Hour Has Come Bird."
The footage shifted to a secure containment facility where a captured specimen was held.
Inside a reinforced cell, the Hour Has Come Bird was tightly restrained with specialized chains, unable to move.
"When we discovered this particular Hour Has Come Bird, it was in the middle of devouring a human.
After an intense struggle, we successfully captured it.
Through research, we learned that it possesses the same stealth capabilities as the Dream Killer (another SCP entity).
Like the Dream Killer, it enjoys stalking its prey for extended periods, inducing psychological torment with its bone-snapping rhythm before finally striking."
"At first, we believed we had captured the only one of its kind."
"But based on Charles's situation, it became clear that there were still unaccounted-for specimens."
"As a result, the SCP Foundation immediately dispatched specialized task force units to investigate the matter further."
"Strangely enough, since its containment, the Hour Has Come Bird has been staring in a single direction—coincidentally toward Freiburg, Germany."
"Perhaps it was just a coincidence… or perhaps it wasn't."
Upon arriving in Freiburg, SCP agents met with Charles and began conducting a thorough investigation into his surroundings.
"According to Charles, he could still hear the noise, even as he spoke with us."
"Yet, despite deploying the most advanced stealth-detection equipment, we were unable to detect any trace of the Hour Has Come Bird within a ten-kilometer radius."
"This left the agents baffled.
If Charles was truly being stalked by the entity, why couldn't we find any evidence of its presence?
Was Charles simply losing his mind?
Or… was he lying?"
"The SCP Foundation had already conducted a thorough psychological evaluation of Charles.
He had no history of mental illness, nor was he deceiving anyone.
So… what exactly was going on?"
"In an effort to uncover the truth, SCP agents decided to monitor Charles 24/7, hoping to solve the mystery once and for all."
"One week later… something unbelievable happened.
It was then that the SCP Foundation finally realized the true horror of the Hour Has Come Bird."
