To humans, this swarm of Xenomorphs might have seemed terrifying—but before Tiga, they were nothing.
In just an instant, Tiga had wiped out every single one of them.
They didn't stand a chance.
"Master, the people outside are under attack by Xenomorphs too!"
Gallantmon's voice rang out.
Tiga immediately raised his Digivice.
Gallantmon had hacked into the surveillance and communication devices of the external support teams to monitor their situation.
The moment he detected the assault, he notified Tiga without hesitation.
"Cha!"
Tiga activated the Digivice right away, releasing Gallantmon.
No words were needed between them. They exchanged a brief nod—completely in sync.
Then Gallantmon turned and sprinted toward the surface.
Those lying on the ground finally snapped back to their senses after witnessing all of it.
The shock had been overwhelming.
From the moment the Xenomorphs appeared to when Tiga annihilated them—it had all happened in less than a minute.
So many dramatic turns, crammed into such a short span—it nearly fried their minds.
"Tiga! Thank you!"
Rena was the first to react. She quickly ran up to thank Tiga.
But she didn't dare get too close.
Being this close and looking into Tiga's eyes—it was her first time.
Her heart was racing.
"Cha!"
Tiga simply waved his hand and pointed outside, nodding once.
Then he turned and walked deeper into the mine.
Though it was a simple motion, Rena immediately understood.
Tiga wanted them to leave.
She had already seen the huge difference in strength between them and the Xenomorphs.
Their weapons couldn't even kill one of those creatures.
Staying would mean certain death.
All they could do was leave—and entrust everything to Tiga.
"Thank you, Tiga… please be careful."
After saying that, Rena went to help the others up.
"Wait… where's Daigo?!"
Only then did Rena realize she hadn't seen Daigo.
She remembered him being knocked away earlier.
But the direction he flew off in—there was no sign of him.
"Cha!"
Tiga turned and patted his chest, nodding once more.
As if to say: leave it to me.
Then he continued walking, vanishing into the darkness.
"Daigo… please come back alive."
Rena looked anxiously in the direction Tiga had gone.
Now, everything rested on him.
"Help us!!"
Suddenly, frantic cries came through their communicator.
"We're under attack! Requesting immediate support!"
"AAAAAAHHH!!!"
"Hello?! Respond!!"
Rena shouted in panic.
But all that came back was static—no response at all.
"No… the Xenomorphs are already attacking the people outside!"
Her face went pale. She couldn't imagine how many were being killed right now.
"We have to go!"
Rena didn't hesitate and took off toward the surface.
The others quickly followed.
Even if they were charging toward death, they couldn't stand by and do nothing while their comrades suffered.
"Command! We're under attack! Requesting support!"
Rena shouted into the comms as she ran.
"We're on our way! Hold on!"
Gen's voice replied.
Rena finally breathed a little easier.
The closer they got to the surface, the more uneasy she felt.
She still hadn't figured out what they could actually do once they got out.
Their weapons wouldn't help against those monsters.
The more she thought, the more nervous she became.
A hint of regret crept in—should they have asked Tiga to escort them out?
But the moment that thought emerged, she shook her head hard.
"Come on, Rena. You're part of the Victory Team. You can't have such immature thoughts—we can't rely on Tiga for everything."
She took a deep breath, calming her frantic heart.
She had already made up her mind—no matter what they faced ahead, she'd face it bravely.
If it came to it—then they'd just fight!
"Gokuraku Jodo!"
As they neared the cave mouth, Gallantmon's roar echoed from outside.
A brilliant flash of light burst out.
Rena instinctively shielded her eyes and face.
When the light faded, she rushed forward.
The first thing she saw—Gallantmon standing tall, his lance piercing two Xenomorphs.
The creatures writhed in pain, spewing highly corrosive acid at Gallantmon.
But it couldn't even scratch his Digizoid armor.
Gallantmon gave a mighty heave and flung the Xenomorphs aside.
Their pierced bodies bled profusely.
In moments, they stopped moving.
All around—Xenomorph corpses. Over twenty of them.
And among them… more than ten corpses from the police force.
"You… you're Tiga's ally!"
Rena cried out in surprise, recognizing Gallantmon.
He glanced at her.
Then walked toward her.
"You—what do you want?!"
The others behind Rena panicked, retreating and raising their guns at the massive, robot-like warrior.
"Lower your weapons! He's not our enemy!"
Rena quickly intervened.
"He saved us!"
From the damaged camp, a few survivors emerged, shouting toward the entrance.
Hearing this, the others slowly lowered their weapons—still skeptical, but willing to listen.
"Step aside."
Gallantmon loomed over them, calmly requesting passage.
They quickly cleared a path.
Gallantmon then dashed into the mine at full speed.
"Where's he going?" someone asked.
"He's going to help Tiga," Rena replied.
Meanwhile, deep within the mine—
Tiga had encountered another swarm of Xenomorphs.
He instantly switched to Power Type—crushing them one by one with his fists.
No matter how many charged at him, he obliterated them with a single blow!
Their acid blood splashed all over him.
But he wasn't hurt at all.
"Cha!"
With a sweeping kick, Tiga shattered two skulls at once.
Then launched twin punches, blasting through two throats—and flung their corpses like weapons.
Spinning in place, he built up speed until a violent tornado formed.
The confined mine filled with a whirlwind—tossing every Xenomorph around like ragdolls.
They smashed into walls, screeched, and collapsed into a heap.
"Haaaaah!"
Taking this moment, Tiga raised both hands and gathered his energy.
Compressing it into a single shining orb—he unleashed the Delasium Light Stream!
The radiant beam surged forth—annihilating the entire swarm.
