The two found a relatively quiet spot and sat down, setting up their fishing rods with bait and started to fish.
"Let's see who catches the first fish," Mu Wan said to Luo Shu with a playful smile, her eyes seriously watching the float in the water. Patience is key when fishing.
"Okay!" Luo Shu nodded with a smile.
The fish in the lake had been fed beforehand, so they weren't as easy to catch as one might think. The fish would often ignore the bait, seldom biting.
About ten minutes later, Mu Wan finally caught a small goldfish.
"I finally caught one!" exclaimed Mu Wan excitedly.
After placing the fish into a nearby aquarium, Mu Wan re-baited her hook and cast it out again. "Luo Shu, don't you think the fish in this lake are particularly hard to catch?" The lake was not empty of fish but they were clever, often ignoring the bait as if they didn't see it.
"These fish have probably been fed already," Luo Shu suggested. Otherwise, how would the stall owner make money?
