Upon the Floating Island of Kongming Cave Heaven, golden sunlight penetrated the colored glaze dome of a small pavilion. Water flowing from Taiye Pond cascaded down the edges of the island, dropping a thousand feet into a waterfall amidst the clouds, shattering into jade and pearl beads forming a rainbow in the light.
Ruby sat in the middle of the pavilion, admiring the sight of the cloud-enveloped waterfall. Amidst the mist, a Gnoll official carefully lifted the lid of a celadon tea canister with his claws.
