Chu Yi waited for quite a while, thinking his eyes might shed some tears, but after a good five or six minutes, nothing came.
Not even the usual itchiness—there wasn't the slightest bit of it.
Opening his eyes again, Chu Yi glanced around.
It was then that he noticed, to his surprise, the stone he was lying on had a small hole.
And next to that small hole, there was a glow, like that of a firefly, shooting out.
"What the hell? Could there be treasure?"
Chu Yi sat up abruptly and hurried toward the small hole.
Just as he reached the mouth of the hole, not even bending down to peer inside, a strange whiff of air suddenly hit his face.
This air was warm, like a breeze blown in springtime.
Stranger still, it had a clammy stickiness to it. He had drunk the river water here before, so he was sure it wasn't seawater—it wasn't salty.
Moreover, the water was sweet and cool.
Chu Yi took a deep breath and cautiously edged closer to the hole.
