Chapter 18
Lugh was standing on top of the crumbled walls revealing a gate on the other side of the room
The party was stunned including the ostro
"Cone on, what are you waiting for" said lugh
The party got themselves together and went through the gate
They were following a staircase down to the 7th floor
"So, lugh, what made you decide to blast away the walls to find the gate" Riley asked
"Instinct" answered lugh
[ he is crazy !!] All thought in unison

They opened and entered the 7th floor, but, as soon as they stepped in they were hit with an heat wave
"Why the hell is it so damn hot" exclaimed riley tugging on his clothes
"Its because there is pure natural fire mana in the form of lava down that large pit"
lugh said referring to the large pit filled with lava at the bottom
" we probably need to cross this pit to reach that gate on the other side, and the only way is to do it by the large chains that are connecting this cliff to that cliff" said sreya
"Right I'll go first" said riley as he went and placed his feet on the chain
He noticed that suddenly the lava rose till it was near the cliff which caused riley's feet to caught fire, he jumped back
[ lava went back down the moment riley stepped away from the chain] lugh thought
" How can we get to the other side of the lava, it rises up the moment we get closed to the chain" said Lisa while healing riley's feet
" yeah and not to mention the ostro are very weak to heat, if we stay here any longer, our ostro friend here might become fried ostro " said Merlin
Hearing which the ostro was terrified to imagine itself as fried ostro and ran towards lugh
" what happened " lugh asked to ostro
It started to look at lugh with very cute eyes
Lugh POV [The heck !!, why the hell is it looking at me with puppy dog eyes, and why the hell is it so damn cute, its making me really uncomfortable]
Lugh sighs deeply " fine" and goes near the cliff
"What can we do about it" asked merlin
"We could use the aqua rings to cover ourselves" said Lisa
" if we do that and it doesn't work then there's the risk of lava overflowing the entire floor" said sreya
Riley was also thinking of solutions but no matter how much he thought it didn't lead to a solution
"Huh, lugh?, what are you doing there" asked Lisa
"as I thought " lugh said as he stood up and walked towards the group
"I was able to discern a few things of the Lava's behavior, for example the more we are close to the lava the more magic disturbance is there, we can't use mana when we step on the chain" said lugh
"There goess our idea of using any magic" said disappointed riley

" but, there's one way" said lugh
Hearing which everyone looked at lugh
"Are you serious?" Asked Lisa
"Yes, there's one way, although weird"

Lugh then proceeds to remove his shoes
" Wait, do you think removing shoes can help" asked riley
" no wait a minute " said lugh
Lugh took out his cloak and his shirt, he got half naked leaving only the bottoms
All the girls covered their eyes in embarrassment
"Look at here"
hearing lugh girls started to shyly remove their hand from the faces and saw that lugh was standing in the middle of the chain
"Whhat, how?" Everyone exclaimed
Lugh jumps back and quickly puts on his clothes
Riley POV " [damn, he got a good body too]
" is something wrong " asked lugh
" its nothing you bastard ! " Exclaimed riley
[ what happened to him] thought lugh
"Lugh how did you do it" asked sreya
" this floor must've been designed by a pervert " lugh said with a tense expression
" huh!?!, whaaa" all said in unison
" so, basically the more the person carries item more the lava rises, and apparently our clothes also count" said lugh

After a awkward silence a realization hit them
" whaaaaaaaaa !!!!!" All screamed
"And also, the safest way is to only have a single piece of cloth On, though it might be a bit embarrassing, but,girls can cover themselves with a cloak and pass one by one" said lugh
"The problem is solved" exclaimed riley happily
"No, its not" said lugh
"What's wrong lugh" asked riley
" our luggage would have to remain here" said lugh while looking at the ostro Carrying the luggage
"No way " said Lisa
" what will we do if we end up needing this stuff in the next floor " said sreya
" if we do proceed, we might as well be naked in the next floor" said Merlin
"Merlin, can you get me the white lantern sceptre" asked lugh
"Sure" said Merlin as she got him the sceptre from the bag
"Alright, guys listen closely, this sceptre has an ability to convert unpure mana to pure mana, when my mana becomes pure mana through this sceptre I can use it to control this room, but, you'll only have a short time to reach the gate, are you all up for the task"

" Ofcource, we are" all exclaimed
Lugh smiled and took his stance
"The mana present here is ancient on top of being pure and completely natural, which also means it's very strong, i can only provide 2 mins at most, you all must reach it"
said lugh as he lifted up the sceptre
" are all of you ready" asked lugh
"Yes !!" Exclaimed everyone
" Now!!! " lugh screamed as he thrusted the sceptre in the ground
All ran at full speed over the chain
The mana released by lugh through the sceptre completely filled up the room, removing all the heat instantly
"Damn it, hasn't even a minute and my hands are already shaking " said lugh
The lava started behaving in a peculiar way
Lugh notices something
"Merlin, watch out!!" Screamed lugh
A hand made up of lava was about to hit merlin
" Vongeruzroa !!! "
as lugh voice filled up the floor, it materialized from Lisa's mana source and destroyed the lava hand after which it went to back her source
The next moment the whole lava turned blue
Lugh was putting even more mana to stop lava from reacting
Riley reached the the cliff and opened the gate
"Guys, come on quick" screamed
Others still hadn't reached the cliff
Lugh who was exerting an huge amount of mana started coughing up blood
"I'm at my limit " said lugh while starting to pant
His eyes started to get blurry
The sceptre broke as it couldn't handle the immense mana pressure
the whole room was completely filled with lava the next moment
