Cherreads

Chapter 3 - Bared Fangs.

After a while, I coughed up a torrent of blood, my dark brown eyes fluctuated wildly between their natural color and a deep red, finally settling on a piercing crimson. My vision blurred, and my body trembled with the force of my corruption.

But then, I reached for my water bottle and took a long drink, the cool liquid soothing my parched throat. My breathing slowly steadied, my body calming as the corruption receded.

My eyes still glowed with an otherworldly red light, but my vision cleared, and I gazed at Max with a calculating intensity. He took a step back, fear flickering across his face.

Rachel, my friend and confidant, rushed to my side, her eyes scanning me with concern. She had received the signal from the hidden necklace I wore, a secret alert that only she knew…

So, Valeria, stood in the classroom, her dark red eyes fixed on Max, her fangs still bared. Her friend Rachel stood by her side, ready to defend her against any threat.

"Valeria, what's going on?" Rachel asked, her voice low and urgent.

Valeria's gaze never left Max. "He tried to awaken my corruption," she replied, her voice husky and menacing.

Rachel's eyes narrowed. "You fool, Max. You have no idea what you've unleashed.

With that Max walks quickly out of the classroom.

Valeria's eyes narrowed as she watched Max flee the classroom. Rachel tried to chase after him, but Valeria caught her arm, holding her back. "Let me handle this, Rachel," she said, her voice low and menacing. "I'll take care of him."

Rachel hesitated, but Valeria's grip was firm. She nodded and stepped back, allowing Valeria to pursue Max alone.

Valeria burst out of the classroom, her super speed carrying her down the hallway in a blur.

It carried her through the school grounds, her eyes fixed on Max's fleeing form. She chased him deeper into the forest, the trees growing denser and the shadows darker. Finally, she caught up to him, her fangs bared as she pinned him against a tree.

Max's eyes gleamed with excitement as she sank her teeth into his neck, his blood flowing into her mouth like a river. Valeria's eyes closed in rapture, her body trembling with pleasure.

But unbeknownst to her, a dark figure watched from the shadows, their eyes fixed on the scene with a calculating gaze. They remained silent, hidden behind a veil of darkness, as Valeria drank her fill.

As she finished and pulled back, her eyes opening to gaze at Max's sated expression, the figure remained still, their presence unknown to the pair. Valeria's senses were dulled by her feeding, her usual keen awareness muffled by the pleasure of the blood.

The figure's eyes narrowed, their gaze fixed on Valeria with intensity. They knew her secret, and they would use it to their advantage. The darkness seemed to pulse with a malevolent energy, as if the figure's very presence was a threat to Valeria's existence.

And yet, Valeria remained oblivious, her focus solely on Max as she licked her lips and smiled, her fangs still bared. The forest was silent, the only sound the distant hum of insects and the soft rustle of leaves.

Max chuckled, his eyes gleaming with triumph. "You can't resist me, Valeria," he said, his voice low and husky.

Valeria's eyes flashed with anger, but she didn't deny it. She licked her lips, savoring the taste of his blood, and then turned and walked away, disappearing into the shadows.

When she reappeared, she was back in her classroom, her eyes fixed on Rachel as she slipped into her seat. Rachel nodded, her eyes understanding, and the classroom remained silent, no one daring to question Valeria's sudden departure and return.
