I left the pavilion with a storm of thoughts brewing behind my eyes as I made my way back to the dogkin camp.
My allies were gathered near the main tent, already waiting. Kitsara's eyes flicked toward me the moment I arrived, three tails twitching with caution.
"It won't be as easy as Emberfang," she said with a wry expression, arms crossed. "I can't just waltz into Lionheart looking like a lionkin scout this time around. They'll execute anyone suspicious before they even speak. I don't have a single lionkin face to imitate either."
I nodded. "You're right. Which means we gotta up the stakes a bit." I turned toward Blossom. "Ghosty, you're going to be the most important piece of the puzzle this time around."
Blossom's ears perked immediately, her tail wagging so fast it was practically a blur. "Ready! Ghosty is ready for whatever amazing plan Master has come up with!"
I didn't answer her immediately.
Instead, I smiled.
