Zach's eyes widened. That was not an answer he had expected, though he wasn't sure what answer he had been expecting.
"You made it?" He asked for clarification.
His fifth familiar nodded.
Zach's brow scrunched up.
As far as he knew, he was the one who made it by combining the indestructible but useless medallion he snagged from the Imperial Palace's treasury and the alloy disk he received from Ursula. But both those things were made by a long-dead and famous artisan craftswoman.
"Vidri?" He asked, confused and doubtful.
Vidri nodded.
"I am relieved you know of me, Master, although I must admit I am surprised."
Zach tilted his head. Why would she be surprised he knew her? Unlike the other familiars, Vidri had a tangible past.
Zach decided to just ask her.
"Why shouldn't I know who you are? You are famous, aren't you? I'm pretty sure that happened before you…died."
