Aster stood back as the other's attacked, watching his opponent carefully, he knew what he had to do, this was their tried and true method to fighting stronger opponents, Barak and Polaris attack head on, Lev ran interference and Aster, he stood back and waited for their opponent to slip up , make a mistake and forget he was there. People have a way of doing that, Aster thought, they get caught up trying to fight off three opponents, no matter how strong you were having three people rush you and try to kill you is over whelming for any one, and that makes them forget about the fourth person. This was the boys true strength, their synergy.
There it was Aster's Opening, Ea had teleported away, Aster's eyes followed the trajectory of the knife which had switched with Ea almost instantly when it struck, but that split second delay was all aster needed to react, placing his hands on the Ground,
"RASHOUMON", Aster shouted, encasing Ea in a white dome, trapping him.
"dammit, he got away again, he is getting seriously annoying", Barak complained, looking around for Ea,
"no he didn't I caught him", Aster said jumping down to the pillar below, "we're switching, I'm attacking now, you two back me up, Lev you're on long range duty", Aster continued as he charged towards the dome, which was promptly cut open by Ea, Levant only responded with a thumbs up as he sat up on the pillar he laid on.
Ea looked around in the darkness, truly surprised that he was surrounded so quickly, though that only fueled his rage, thrusting his sword forward he swiftly cut through the stone dome that encased him.
"Aluric, what the actual fuck, you just said to stick together, and one mention of yumi and you throw everything out the window", Ea complained, Aluric, busy dodging the pointy end of his brother's sword, gave Ea an annoyed glance before refocusing on his fight,
"I swear to Atros, if you being in love with yumi costs us this fight I'll", Ea said,
"you'll what ea…..if… we lose….at best we'll both be unconscious…..at worst, we'll be too dead to care", Aluric said, his hand hardening with the pattern of his armor , blocking a strike from Amon, Aluric responded as his body twisted and spun into a kick that landed on the flat side of Amon's sword, pushing him back and into the ground several feet away.
Aster appeared over head, bearing down his War hammer on Aluric, blocking the incoming strike with his armored hand, the weight behind it forcing Aluric onto his knee,
"oh no you don't", Ea said taking a step forward with his sword prepared to step in and help Aluric,
"ARC VOLTAGE: SHASET"S SPEAR", Barak shouted out, spinning his body and throwing his sword towards Ea, the sword spun through the air at such a high velocity, Ea had no choice but to dodge it, leaving the sword to cleave through multiple pillars and stick into the throne room wall. Barak ran in holding out his hand, with a a crackle of lightning and a flash of light Barak's sword reappeared in his hand, as he rushed in to strike at Ea again. Aluric grit his teeth, struggling against the brute strength that Aster bore down on him with, enough so that the armored skin began to crack little by little, with one final push Aluric gathered his strength,
"Get off of me, you earthy bastard", Aluric said, his last burst of raw strength, pushed Aster's hammer in to the air leaving him wide open, Aluric jumped up spinning his body, his leg stretched out to deliver a nasty kick to Aster's temple,
"VOLCANIC STAR: ENHANCER", Levant shouted, as a blue stream of fire erupted from his fist, splitting off into five smaller streams all converging onto Aluric, the resulting explosion launching him towards the throne, and flinging Aster all the way back to the throne room Entrance. Ea looked on as his friend flew across the room from Levant's attack, however he was also busy fending off another attack, Ea tilted his sword to a side causing barak's own to slide off of it towards the ground, Ea spun around Barak standing up behind him, his focus remained on Aluric, checking to see if he was okay.
"you should keep you eyes on me", Barak said, dropping low to the ground, he swept Ea's legs from under him, with his body horizontal in the air, he heard Barak shout,
"NOW POL", Barak shouted jumping out of the way,
"KOIOS' CASCADE", Polaris shouted, a ball of water summoned into his hand, rushing forward to Ea, the water twisted and coiled within itself, pushing Ea's free falling body back onto the throne. Ea gripped his own sword tightly trying to resist the mountainous amount of pressure the geyser of water forced onto him, the pressure made it feel as though his chest itself would explode, soon Polaris' attack subsided, leaving Ea to puke up a mouthful of blood. Ea clenched his teeth, pushing off of the throne to resume his attack, but was met with Barak's boot pushing into his chest, and his sword being knocked out of his hand towards Aluric.
Aluric had resumed his fight with his brother and Aster, he slid under Aster's hammer strike, sliding and kicking his Amon who was also on the ground, in his mouth, flipping back up to his feet, Aster dropped his hammer, spinning and landing the back of his fist onto Aluric's chin, rattling him for a second, seeing his opening Aster picks up Aluric, to drive him into the floor, Aluric however, summons every last ounce of his strength, charging lightning in one hand and fire in the next, he slammed his fists to the back of Aster's neck dropping him, Amon appears over head his sword mid swing, but to his surprise Aluric rolled out of the way picking up Ea's sword in the process, he swung with a wild rage, parrying Amons next attack and knocking his brothers arm and sword in the air, with quick succession, Aluric carved two x's onto Amon's chest.
Amon looked on at his brother, a look of horror mixed with disgust twisted it's way out, he cried out with an agonizing roar, dropping to his knees, the mark on his chest glowed red with a fury. Aluric dropped Ea's sword, stepping back a smile peeling onto his face,
"there, we no longer have to fight each other", Aluric said, dropping both hands to his side,
"you…..you", Amon muttered, as he feel to the ground, the marks on his chest fading away along with his consciousness. Aluric took a step forward looking down at his brother, with contempt in his eyes, which melted away to briefly rveal a look of sorrow,
"I", Aluric began to say, as a sudden force gouged him in his stomach, he found himself being propelled away from his brother, he came to a sudden stop his head bouncing off of the wall behind him, Aluric looked around to see, Aster kneeling down with a white stone pillar running from the ground by his hand all the way to his own stomach.
"don't even think about it, one move and I'm giving you and extra hole to breathe through", Levant said appearing next to Aluric.
"when I get free I'm going to slaughter you all like the lowly livestock that you ar….", Ea screamed out, only to be stopped by an icy cold pain running straight through his already injured shoulder,
"I've had enough of you, sit there and be quiet", Polaris said, running Ea through with his sword, "so what do we do now, we finally got them subdued, but the leader with the big brained plan is knocked out", Polaris continued, looking around at the other three boys.
"Our safest bet is to kill both of them", Aster said, getting up from on the ground. He walked up Levant and Aluric, his war hammer in hand, with each step the large diamond spike grew at the end of the hammer's face.
"hold on Ast slow your role", Levant said holding out his hand, "if we kill them now it'll make Amon and yumi look extremely bad, and all the victims wouldn't have someone to blame for all their loss and destruction", levant argued,
"that doesn't matter alive or dead everyone still has to find a way to cope and move on with their lives, I'm sure Pol and Rak agree with me", Aster said, stopping in his tracks, "don't you", he said,
"I with Aster here, these two are way to dangerous alive, who knows what they'll plot and do next, Besides this is the price they should pay for their ambition and hubris", Barak said, grabbing Ea by his hair and shaking his head around,
"sorry but I'm with Lev on this", Polaris said, "I've", He gave pause, "we've been killing damn near anyone we've fought since we were kids, I'm tired of it", Polaris said,
"for fuck's sake, you of all people want to start sparing lives, I've seen your reported kills, even the ones that you have without us, the ones that Zaraar sent you to execute, and I know that all of them weren't fights, they were executions", Aster shouted at Polaris,
"I fucking know that, which is why I'm telling you I'm tired of this bullshit", Polaris shouted back,
"Pol I mean it is kinda inconvenient that you chose now to grow a soul", Barak said,
"hey rak if he doesn't want to, you can't force him", Levant shouted across,
"so that's how you all really see me, a soulless killing machine", Polaris said,
"now Pol you know I didn't mean it lik...", Barak began to say,
A bright blinding light washed over the entirety of the throne room, for a second everyone went blind to everything, after the light faded away, floating above them in her black gown and billowing towards the ground was none other than the grand matriarch of their clan.
