"How's it going?"
As Li Chen walked in from outside, Yao Chou couldn't help but ask.
However, Li Chen's expression remained as still as ancient well water, like a thousand-year-old block of ice.
Though he was asking, Yao Chou already had an answer in his heart.
"No news," Li Chen shook his head: "Perhaps, I really shouldn't have just killed him like that."
A hint of regret surfaced on Li Chen's face.
"Don't worry, we will definitely find the person. It's not really your fault," Yao Chou patted Li Chen's shoulder and said: "Under those circumstances at that time, no one knew that guy actually had such a killer move hidden. And moreover, nobody knew if he had any backup plans."
"If it were me, I would have dealt with him right away too."
Li Chen gently shook his head but said nothing; he knew it was Yao Chou comforting him.
But right now, such consolation was simply of no use to how he felt.
