Late at night, Tang Zelin, braving the snowfall as he returned home, realized he had been inside for quite a while.
Yet, someone still hadn't reacted.
He approached, "What are you thinking about?"
His large palm covered her head, and Su Shu finally came to her senses.
"When did you get back?"
"Just while you were lost in your wild thoughts," Tang Zelin said with a light smile.
Having returned late tonight, the children had all fallen asleep. Su Shu, deeply engrossed in her thoughts, stood up and headed toward the kitchen.
"I'll warm up some soup for you."
Tang Zelin stopped her, "No need to bother, I'm not hungry, some hot water will be fine."
"Alright, I'll pour you a cup."
After Su Shu brought over a cup of warm water, Tang Zelin took it and asked her what she had been so engrossed in thinking about earlier.
"Nothing much, just about soil improvement and pregnancy issues."
"How's your body, is anything feeling off?"
