Until silence.
Jiang Xinyi rose and joined Zhou Yuwen at the front of the stage.
They bowed.
"Applause!"
At that moment, the most enthusiastic applause of the evening erupted from the audience, the loudest of the night, everyone clapping with all their might, as if this was the only way to tell Zhou Yuwen.
You sang beautifully!
The applause continued without end, lasting upwards of forty seconds, and many people stopped while others turned red at the neck clapping.
At that moment, watching Zhou Yuwen and his daughter taking a bow on stage, Liu Jing finally snapped out of her reverie.
Beside her, school leader Li Ru, while clapping and smiling, said to Liu Jing, "Your daughter and nephew are both outstanding, it felt like I attended a concert for free."
Liu Jing took a moment to realize, then lightly smiled.
Looking at the stage again, she saw some students couldn't resist and went up with flowers.
They were meant for Zhou Yuwen.
Yet, Zhou Yuwen handed them to Jiang Xinyi.
