Komori Ai had disappeared somewhere after their meal, not to be seen again.
Such solo outings were rare for her, but Kagura Hikaru didn't think much of it, assuming she'd probably gone to snack at a convenience store and would return on time.
Arriving at the train station platform, Kagura Hikaru saw Ai Cheng Hua Lian and went over to greet her.

Hearing Ai Cheng's lively voice brightened Kagura Hikaru's mood.

"Yes, I went back to my hometown for a funeral—it was my grandfather's."

The two chatted while stepping into the train carriage that had stopped in front of the platform.
