"I am off as those two should be back eventually," Crater said
Thus, Reva was left to his own device once again, as he still could not move, not having enough power to do so just yet. However, he was now at least capable of coming online, which was a change from before. Whatever happened that prevented him from doing so before must have been related to something done to Cami while the two of them were both inactivated.
'No use dwelling on the past as I do not even know how long ago that even was now' Reva thought.
He allowed himself to go offline once more. This time though it was to restore enough power to actually move once again. Just talking to Crater like that just now was truly literally all he was capable of at that moment. Time then once again began to pass though it was now doing so differently as no one in the village now had a human sense of time anymore thus the next time Reva came back online and was fully able to do so. Not just remain immobile and only able to speak was actually years later after the last time he had come online. The reasoning behind it taking so long was that he was now fully restored to the peak of his power supply rather than just barely hovering at the bare minimum that was needed for any robot to activate at all like before.
When Reva looked around noticing the place was slightly different than when he last came online not yet noticing the time gap between then and now. Not that it would have mattered though standing there before him as about to get ready to move for the first time. As given everything that has happened this would be the very first time that he would have moved as the formal Southern Guardian at least. The last action he took before the last cycle he recalled ended was him sitting on this throne with Cami at his side. Now she was standing in front of him with a younger girl at his side. Seeing her coloring and recalling it was the same as Carter he guessed this was Page then.
Page and Cami were currently at a loss for words as to them this was the first time that were interacting with Reva himself. They were followers of him but he was never online before so they were just following through on vague notions of what they thought he would want them to do. Cami from her programming and Page from just what she thought would be helpful and/or following Cami's lead.
"So you must be Page," Reva said to her.
"As expected of our Southern Guardian, you did not even need me to introduce myself," she said, looking amazed.
'Just what kind of thoughts are going through her head? What kind of stories have been passed down about Guardians that she would think something like that' he thought.
"Of course as our lord would know your name as you work under me after all" Cami told her
'I wonder how loyal to me she really is' Reva thought to himself.
He recalls Carter telling him that Page was actually loyal to him through her own will rather than programming like Cami was. There were a lot of things he was aware of that Guardians were capable of and now even more that he was a legit one himself in his current state. There were things that he now knew that he did not even realize was the case prior. The reasoning was that he only knew these things now because he was one of the Guardians rather than going off the knowledge he had from being aware that things were working in a cycle. That he was originally trapped within said cycle. How long he had been was something he was unaware of as again he just had knowledge of their being a cycle and deciding to go with his current plan than any other. That plan mostly means to just exist within the cycle rather than fight against it, attempt to change it, or even break the cycle at all. Memories of the first two were present within him which is why he chose the fourth option that he was currently going through.
However, what Reva was unaware of was the original third option of attempting to break the cycle. Not only was he unaware of any memories of doing so the mere fact and/or act of doing so has never crossed his mind. So it was not so much that it was something that never happened but more so something that Reva was not being allowed to even acknowledge was a possibility and/or a chance that it had happened at some point in the past. Proving that while Reva was powerful and knowledgeable in his current state and mindset. There were still things that were beyond his understanding and that he might be playing in the hands of others to some degree. The amount and the reasoning for them allowing him to do as he pleased and even mess up the cycle as he had done so was known. A ripple effect of what he had planned for just himself had already taken effect. Some of those direct ripples were what happened to his lands as Guardian, the lands he was supporting to invade, and the village that formed nearby him. Others that were more indirect were that he influenced the reasoning behind there not being a Mecha Lord currently thus enough time past that the old power structure and standing of things he was aware of was gone for the most part. With only the bare bones and building blocks of it remain. Those things that should everything else crumble and fade away to dust would remain as that fundamental. Thus while everything else around them could change these things would remain the same through.
