Blake reached out and touched the griffon's fur-feathers, before channeling an ability he had yet to use before. "Taint," he commanded, as a powerful aura of darkness seemed to come from within him, even more powerful than the shadow energy he had been training with himself recently in.
This energy of darkness felt so primal, so old yet so powerful, its source must have been primordial. It came from within Blake's deepest, most innard self of being, likely from the energy he'd inherited from his father, he deduced, an aura of darkness took over his body, like fire to oil, yet he felt no discomfort. He felt no pain, no fear.
