Jabari stayed in the dining bar, even after lunch was finished. He didn't even cultivate — something he does almost 24/7. He just watched and waited.
Eventually, night befell the train and dinner time had youths returning to the dining bar as well as Celeste and Cimon a their crew, but Jabari had yet to see Blake.
As boys tripped over themselves to see Celeste to try to ask for her hand in marriage, to which Celeste blatantly ignored, and often politely declined[to the noble], Jabari began to frustrate. He was certain Blake would be there — Celeste even said he may come earlier at lunch when Jabari had asked her about him, but he had yet to show himself, and it was frosting Jabari.
