Training Head managed between gasps of laughter, wiping a tear from his eye.
He took a step closer to Dan Ya, his foot landing just beside her outstretched arm, emphasizing her vulnerability.
His laughter died down, his face twisting into a mask of cold, amused contempt as he looked at Ye Yang.
"The escort agency? They send me tributes, boy! They bend the knee to me!" He gestured to Dan Ya with a dismissive flick of his wrist. "This one was simply late with her... training fees."
More laughter. "Yeah, Nephew! Maybe you can pay her fee for her! Get down on your knees!" a soldier yelled.
"The Ye clan?" Training Head sneered, his voice dropping to a dangerous growl.
"Seems you don't know much about your own clan!" He stepped between Dan Ya's legs again, his gaze raking over her trembling body, then flicked back to Ye Yang.
"And who will believe the words of a waste like you?" Training Head continued, his voice laced with malice.
