Nathan gave a small nod and stood up slowly, checking that he could move properly, and when he felt steady enough, he took a deep breath and stretched a bit.
"Then let's go to the field, Let's wait for the others there." Nayoung said with a jump, leading the way out as they walked together toward the field just outside the building.
When they reached it, the large space was empty and quiet, no students, no monsters, not even a sound of footsteps in the distance.
"Where did they go, Nayoung?" Elshienne asked after a while, sitting on the bench with her eyes narrowing slightly. "It's been two hours since they left. I thought they'd be back by now."
"To the… Ethereal Grounds! Oops—heh heh—forget that I said anything! Just pretend I didn't say anything at all!"
Nayoung stopped walking and froze for a second, her eyes looking sideways like she had said something she wasn't supposed to, and then she laughed nervously and covered her mouth quickly with both hands.
