Since I was so angry at him, I decided to go shopping instead of going back home. I knew he would go home after his meetings. And after his offensive comment about my virginity, I was too angry at him to see him just yet. Twice, he married me and twice, he made a comment about my virginity as if he thought of me as some kind of whore.
I was grateful to Kevin for teaching Charlie how he could take care of himself when I was not around to take care of him. I didn't have to worry about Charlie. I knew he would take care of himself. He would eat, do his homework and go to bed by himself. I thought I would spend the whole day outside. I bought a bunch of things for myself and my son.
