In the cave, the flickering firelight danced as Ye Wutian and He Meng sat in front of a campfire, roasting a wild rabbit.
As Ye Wutian turned the branch skewered with rabbit meat, he smiled and said, "Sister He Meng really does like roughing it. You'd rather sleep in this cave than in a comfortable suite in the city."
He Meng ignored Ye Wutian, slowly adding more wood to the fire, her expression laden with heavy thoughts.
Seeing He Meng so preoccupied, Ye Wutian asked curiously, "Sister He Meng, what are you thinking about? Are you perhaps considering what we'll do later?"
He Meng rolled her eyes at Ye Wutian, still not engaging with him.
The cave quieted down, leaving only the crackling sounds of the firewood.
After a moment of silence, He Meng suddenly asked, "Didn't you say you were going to steal a divine artifact from the Ise Grand Shrine? When do you plan to act?"
"The Ise Grand Shrine is nearby, so even if we act now, it wouldn't be a problem," Ye Wutian replied.
