Atsuta Shrine, located in the heart of Nagoya, is one of Japan's three great Shinto shrines and a heritage artifact of the Japanese Imperial Family. It houses a large number of sword treasures, among which the Kusanagi Sword, known as one of the Three Great Sacred Treasures of Japan, is enshrined here.
Like the Ise Grand Shrine, Atsuta Shrine is surrounded by a dense jungle. The ancient trees reach to the sky, covering an area of about 190,000 square meters. Scattered throughout are various shrines, with the Shrine Treasure Museum at the very center where all treasures are stored.
The moon shone sparsely among the stars, with a few remnants of clouds floating in the sky like veils partially hiding the lunar visage. A gentle breeze swept through, rustling the leaves and branches with a whispering sound. After the gust of wind passed, tranquility returned to the woods, and an aura of solemnity enveloped the entire grand shrine.
