The guild master stood up, dressed herself and left the room while her guild mates, and well, sexual partners brainstormed. If she is anything like how I am, attacking those children of hers was really too much. Ideally I'd like to speak to her directly. She wondered, walking through the castle. This place, it's truly beautiful. A perfect place for someone like myself to rule over this world from. She cast the message spell, thinking about the target she wanted to speak with. I'm not sure if she'll answer me but, if she's who I think she was in the other world, this will be easy. We could work together to claim dominion over this world.
~ An Unusual Call ~
Huh? Who is this? I don't recognize the signal. Should I answer it? It might have something to do with the Greed Kings. … Pausing her flight, she reverted her transformation and landed. Alright, here goes."Hello, who is this?"
Excellent, she picked up! Now I just have to figure out if she really was that other rich girl… "I'm a Guild Master from Yggdrasil. My 7 men and I were brought to this world."
"Oh, so you've finally stopped cowering in that floating fortress of yours. What do you want from me, your self made enemy?" I can't believe this bitch actually had the nerve to contact me directly.
She knows about our floating castle already? I didn't detect her snooping even a little bit… How, and when did she have the time to pull that off? She shook her head side to side in vigorous fashion. No, I can't delay my response, I'll think about that later. "Well, to put it bluntly, I'd like to find out what it would take for you to stay out of the fighting, you know, for old time's sake, maybe?"
"Huh? Old time's sake? What would that even be? Did I sell you any of my particular brand of druid crafted items?" Seriously, what the hell is she talking about? With this I have a chance of making some headway, I don't think anyone that I didn't sell items to would ever have a chance to be pulled into this world.
Hmm? Perhaps she doesn't know who I am? Or maybe she doesn't remember? It has been 100 years for her, people forget many things in that amount of time. "Well, yes you did sell me some rather nice items in the past. I'd bet the developers had to nerf you a bit, right?"
"Uh, no, they wouldn't have been able to even if they wanted to do so. It's not like those items were made through the use of solely druidic skills. The only nerf I had was… Well, that detestable quest…" This bitch is beating around the bush, and I don't like it. She talks like one of those rich assholes from my previous world. The ones that caused massive pollution, death, and destruction. "Stop beating around the bush and ask me what you want."
Holy shit, she does know who I am, or at least what I'm like. Yikes, this might be worse than I thought. She might not be one of my fellow rich girls from the other world. Oh well, I'm going to have to make due with this I guess. "Alright, I wanted to know if you were one of my fellow rich friends from the other world. She never did tell me what she did in the game so I'm not sure. If you were her, maybe we could work together? I want to rule this world."
"You want to rule over this world? Like the previous one?"
Huh? Her tone, it's considerably different. Not good. "Yes, I-"
"You'll have to kill me to make that pipe-dream a reality. I refuse to allow this world to go down the same horrible path as the other world. You rich pretentious genocidal murderer. I hope your death is as painful as possible."
"Wait, what? Huh? I was just rich, that's all." Ugh, this is really not good. "If nothing else, can we make a deal, I'd rather not have to fight you at all. What do you want from me, to keep you out of the fighting?" I hope this works.
Seriously? I suppose that guy from earlier may have made such a report. Perfect chance to get more out of this alliance with my mother-in-law. "I will vigorously defend my people and the lands they call home. I have extended family in another location on the planet as well. But, if all of you agree to fight against the dragons, individually… You refrain from violating my borders or her people… And you understand my nation is a place for the dragons to receive medical care… I will not attack you."
"Agreed."
"Good… Don't forget that, understand… Else I will rain a hell upon you the likes of which you've never seen. And don't you dare think of laying a finger on my children. I can't think of a quicker way to willingly abandon your own life."
"I understand. And thank you for agreeing to make a deal with me."
"Before I hang up on you… Remember one more thing. If you do anything even remotely damaging to this beautiful new world's nature… Polluting it in any way… I will kill you all until you've been reduced to meager wisps in the wind."
As the telepathic call ended, the guild master, leader of the greed kings felt a freezing cold shiver run the length of her spine. She's absolutely horrifying. Even on the call I could feel her… Strength… That shouldn't be possible. Wait a minute. Has she discovered some way to acquire this world's unique brand of power? Just how much stronger is she now? She crossed her arms. And how dare she call me those names. I never did any of that. Such a whore. Then another shiver went the length of her spine. Again, seriously? What are you?!
In Tus Nadair, Night Silver had hung up the rather tense call. She was fuming at the audacity coming from the greed kings leader. Friends? With her? Laughable. Utterly laughable. If it weren't for the alliance we made with the dragons… I might have actually decided to go and slaughter these greedy bastards once and for all. Though, I did manage to make it easier on the dragons, so I guess that's a win. The only problem now is if she properly understood what that meant.
