ZINA
"There was a time I had nothing," Zina pressed forward, ignoring the woman's baiting. Should her rod descend on her all over again, she would not care.
But as for the words that were screaming in her, she must speak them.
"A time when all I had was a bubble." She continued without stop, feeling out of breath, "these bubbles is precisely what you've been showing me from my first torture—images of my past with the WolfKnights."
"What do you mean to say?" Rose said with a smile, obviously enjoying how pathetic and haggard Zina looked. The woman probably thought she was rambling like a mad woman, and maybe Zina was mad.
"What I mean to say is that there was once upon a time when all I had was nothing, and right until you kidnapped me, I had everything—a pack, a husband, a child, a family."
Rose smirked, her dark eyes dilating into something evil. "And now you're back to square one right?"
