Chapter 50 - Chapter 25.1 - The House of Gemini

The grand hall of the House of Gemini echoed in silence as Geminus, the enigmatic emissary of Gemini, stood motionless. His presence dominated the space, the Twin Daggers glinting ominously in his hands. Spink, the Radiant Burst, entered with quick, precise steps, her expression determined—but there was tension in her eyes. Geminus revealed that Midoki had been banished to Helheim.

- Spink (thinking):"Midoki… in Helheim?! I have to win… I have to save Elyra."

Geminus, his face calm and unreadable, observed the Pukain before him.

- Geminus: "You will never reach the elf. You stand before a force that transcends your understanding."

Spink clenched her fists, the glow of Speedstorm enveloping her body like a protective mantle.

- Spink: "I don't care about your threats. I won't stop."

Without another word, Spink launched forward, becoming a blur of light and lightning. Her movement was too fast for the human eye to follow—but Geminus was no ordinary foe. The Twin Daggers slashed through the air, intercepting her swift strikes as she tried to find an opening. Rapid Bursts and Speedlash rained down, but Geminus moved with calculated precision, deflecting every attack with ease.

- Geminus: "Speed and strength alone won't be enough," he declared. "You have no idea what you're up against."

Suddenly, the floor trembled slightly as a dense aura emanated from Geminus' body.

- Geminus: "The time of your sentence has come, Spink." The Twin Daggers glowed intensely as he activated his spiritual ability. "Double Sentence!"

Spink felt the air around her shift drastically. She tried to escape using her Extreme Speed, but quickly realized the attack was tracking her across the entire hall. The Twin Daggers ensured that Double Sentence would hit its target—no matter how fast she ran.

- Geminus: "There's no use running." His voice remained impassive. "Judgment is inevitable."

The technique finally caught up with her, and Spink was engulfed by the aura of Double Sentence. Geminus waited for the end, expecting to see her vanish into Helheim. But to his shock—nothing happened. Spink still stood, untouched.

- Geminus (thinking):"What…?" He stepped back, visibly perplexed. "Why did the technique fail? Could her spirit be so aligned with her body that even Helheim cannot claim her?"

He stared closely, sensing an even stronger aura radiating from her.

- Geminus (thinking):"No… this isn't just alignment. That aura… it's something else."

Spink, breathless but unwavering, looked at Geminus with defiance.

- Spink: "Looks like your judgment isn't absolute, Geminus."

He remained silent, processing what had just happened. At last, he lowered the Twin Daggers.

- Geminus: "You may pass. Enjoy it while I remain in control. This battle is over."

Surprised, Spink hesitated for a moment—but soon realized he was sincere. Without wasting another second, she rushed forward, determined to reach Elyra and find a way to save Midoki.

Meanwhile, Throk and Neptune were still making their way through the House of Taurus, preparing themselves for the trials ahead. Time was against them—but the battle was far from over.
