After returning to the villa, Yun Xinyan looked at the ruined flowers and plants. Though her heart ached, she was more concerned about Ye Tian's wellbeing. It wasn't until she saw that Ye Tian was unscathed that she finally breathed a sigh of relief.
"Ye Tian, what on earth happened in the yard? Why have all the flowers, grass, and trees been burned?"
Yun Xinyan asked with concern. Ye Tian chuckled and said, "What else could it be? Just some thunder and lightning!"
"Thunder and lightning? It couldn't really be such a coincidence, could it?"
Yun Xinyan exclaimed. Though she was reluctant to believe it, according to Ye Tian, it truly was a thunder strike this time. Miraculously, the Tian Lei had landed squarely in their yard, ultimately causing the vegetation to burn.
The fortunate part was that the villa itself remained unscathed...
"Of course it's true, my dear wife. Your husband is nothing if not honest!"
