"Great Priest, is it appropriate to let Freeman control the Gaze of the Eye?" the tall Bergis asked respectfully.
During Exeter's 'retirement', Freeman had been vying for power with him, even surpassing him at times, which had left Bergis with a considerable grudge against Freeman.
And now, handing over the ancient evil artifact 'Gaze of the Eye' that he had painstakingly retrieved to Freeman for control made Bergis feel uncomfortable.
"Why worry?" Exeter smiled and said.
"He has managed to divert a significant portion of Minter's forces for us. Isn't that a good thing?"
