After half a day, Lu Hong finally emerged from the dense jungle. When he arrived at the nearest resettlement area, he found that it had already been destroyed by the Disaster Church. The older people were killed directly, and the younger ones were gone without a trace, presumably taken captive. The buildings, such as houses, were also destroyed by the Disaster Church, turning the resettlement area into a pile of ruins.
Apparently, the Disaster Church hadn't received a response from Torian and, realizing they were exposed, brazenly started to plunder.
The enemy moved quickly, and Lu Hong passed through seven or eight resettlement areas along the way. Each one had been ransacked by the Disaster Church, and the usable portals had also been destroyed.
