Schulman looked at the guy who was speaking and said discontentedly, "Are you trying to disgust me this early in the morning, Sweet?"
Sweet replied with a smile, "Not at all. You're the boss now, Schulman, not like me, still having to work here."
"Your family situation doesn't require you to work."
"I've grown up, haven't I?" said Sweet as he headed back, "Just a moment, your order is coming right up."
"Add an extra portion today, it's on me."
"It's work hours now, Schulman," Sweet said helplessly.
Schulman then shouted towards the counter, "Hey, Old Pete, how about I pay double so Sweet can join me for breakfast?"
A Latino boss poked out his head: "How about triple? Then I'll come over and join you for a meal."
"Then I can only pay half, because just seeing you puts me off my appetite."
"Get lost, Schulman! You little punk, you're making money now and forgot how you used to beg your Uncle Pete for a Coke?"
"That was a gift, don't expect me to pay for it now."
