"Oh really, are you talking about the same thing your husband did to you?"
Vanessa's words pierced Catherine's skin as she felt like exploding at that moment.
"Vanessa, that's enough! Both of you! Fighting and arguing won't change anything."
He tried to stop them, but Catherine pulled out her crying Sega. "You watch your wife insult me and you don't say anything? What kind of son are you?"
Catherine cried as Rowen sighed. "Mother, don't get too worked up. Vanessa didn't mean what she said. She was just angry... now just relax."
He said as he held his mother, trying to calm her down, while Vanessa just rolled her eyes at Catherine's childish tactics.
"For a daughter-in-law to speak to her mother-in-law that way is truly saddening."
A familiar voice was heard as Stacy walked into the living room. Dressed in a brown free gown, her hair was packed in a neat bun, making her look mature.
