"What are you doing?" Isaac pulled Xavier aside and folded his hands, giving him a look that said to get talking; otherwise, he'd show him hell.
"What am I doing?" Xavier frowned, not understanding what his friend was getting at.
Why is Xavier looking at me strangely as if he wants to bite my head off? What's wrong with him? Did he inhale something he shouldn't have?
"There's no need for you to act before me. I see everything."
"That's good, brother. I'm glad your eyesight is good." Xavier patted his back and was about to leave when Isaac's next words stopped him.
"What's happening between Miss Lawrence and Kyrell?"
Xavier almost lost his footing, and his blood ran cold. Turning around, he stared at Isaac as if he were a monster.
