Finally, it was just Kyrell and Sienna.
"Why are you looking at me that way?" Sienna asked when she saw Kyrell staring at her peculiarly. There was an odd intensity in his gaze that stunned her to no level. For a moment, she didn't know how to react.
"Are you fine, Miss Lawrence?" Kyrell asked, ignoring the hoarseness in his voice.
"I'm fine. Don't worry," Sienna assured him with a soft smile.
"But..."
"Relax, I won't take any stress."
Although Sienna said that, her eyes were downcast and she started picking the skin near her nail on the index finger, an act that Kyrell realized was due to her nervousness.
'Maybe she remembers,' he thought about her phone call with Brendon. He wanted to ask her about it but didn't have the guts. What if she was triggered by the topic? He couldn't see her in stress again. It killed him every time she was in discomfort.
"I know what's running in your mind," Sienna said suddenly and Kyrell's brows shot up slightly.
