Fiadh was late.
She didn't actually mind that her maid was late, but she was quite certain this was true anyway. Donncahd retrieved the pillow, and then didn't remain in the room much longer. He said something about Fiadh being present soon, and...
It had been soon.
She still wasn't present.
But that was fine. Rache didn't actually mind being alone, especially because it meant she could nap and feel a bit more secure. Not that she felt insecure with Fiadh, but she felt bad not engaging with Fiadh, at least.
However.
She did really want a glass of water.
Donncahd left a pitcher of water and a glass on the table near where he'd been, but it was decidedly out of range of the bed, even if she contorted herself or crawled across the bed to reach like the floor was lava.
The floor was not lava. She could just get up and get the water, and neither Donncahd nor Fiadh would stop her or fuss and worry about it if they weren't there.
