Pov General,
The Death Eaters were having fun torturing the poor Muggle family, making them levitate upside down while setting parts of their tent on fire.
Chaos reigned across the area — everyone was running for their lives.
Aurors were on-site but couldn't intervene because of the hostages.
It was at that moment that a blade appeared out of nowhere, piercing through the torso of one of the Death Eaters.
All the others froze, backing away in shock, unable to comprehend what had just happened to their comrade.
"Leviosa."
Marie's voice rang out clearly as she moved the Muggles to safety.
Evelyn pulled the blade from her enemy's chest, raised it high, and with a single, fluid motion — swift, sharp, and without hesitation — she struck.
The Death Eater's head rolled to the ground, his eyes still wide with terror. His body, drained of all will, collapsed with a dull thud.
The silence that followed was more terrifying than the scream of death itself.
And then… something changed.
The wind stopped for a heartbeat, as if the world had paused to breathe.
Evelyn slowly straightened. Her hands, stained with blood, still gripped her katana tightly — but her eyes… her eyes were now swallowed in darkness.
The world around him grew colder, darker. A blood-red glow seemed to radiate from his body, sending a supernatural shiver through even the bravest of the Death Eaters.
Evelyn walked forward in silence, cutting down her enemies with superhuman precision.
With every step, fear spread like a plague.
A scream. A blade raised. A burst of blood.
The cowards among them backed away, some throwing down their wands to flee, their voices strangled by terror.
"You will not leave."
Marie's voice rang out as she conjured a magical barrier, sealing off the area and preventing any of the Death Eaters from Disapparating.
"Stupefy!"
Realizing they could no longer escape, the Death Eaters launched themselves at Evelyn and her companion with all the rage they could muster — but the two women fought as one.
With smooth, controlled movements, Evelyn parried every strike, using a muscle-enhancement charm to boost her speed.
Meanwhile, Marie supported her girlfriend by choking enemies with binding spells and casting deep-cutting curses with surgical precision.
The Aurors didn't move — too stunned by the unfolding scene.
As Evelyn was about to strike down another opponent, a red flash shot out and clashed against her blade, sending out a spray of sparks.
Evelyn's eyes narrowed. She stepped back slightly, shifting into a guarded stance — she could sense it now.
A dangerous presence was here.
"Cover me, Marie."
"I would, even if you didn't ask."
Evelyn cast a magic perception charm, scanning the area carefully to locate their hidden enemy.
Suddenly, the red lightning appeared again — this time aimed at Marie's back. But just before it hit, Evelyn intercepted it, deflecting the blast. The force was immense, pushing her backward despite her resistance.
"Be careful, Marie. They've got someone supporting them from the shadows."
"Got it. I'll stay alert."
Evelyn kept blocking the lightning attacks, one after another, but the origin of the strikes remained elusive.
Then, a light flared in the sky — revealing the Dark Mark burning ominously in the clouds.
"Evelyn, the charm preventing them from Disapparating is gone."
As Marie spoke, the last conscious Death Eater made a run for it.
Evelyn reacted instantly. She hurled her katana with all her strength, the blade striking the fleeing Death Eater mid-transit, disrupting the Apparition and leaving him seriously wounded.
A heavy silence fell over the battlefield.
As Evelyn approached the injured man, the red lightning struck again — this time hitting the Death Eater's unconscious body, killing him instantly.
All that remained, aside from the wound caused by Evelyn's blade, was a single red rose embedded in his chest.
The same rose marked the hearts of all the other unconscious Death Eaters.
"I thought they were on the same side," Evelyn muttered, "but apparently, they didn't trust each other enough to let someone be captured alive. Silence, after all, belongs to the dead."
That night, though the battle had ended, was far from over.
