A group of winged creatures drifted close to their cloud, studying them curiously. In a place where the population was supernatural, the ordinary humans were the freaks
Their lack of fur, claws, wings, colored eyes....everything that was human about them was found a source of mockery. The winged creatures proved this by smirking and laughing at them.
"Losers." One of them yelled out.
"I will cut your wings off." Maureen screamed back at them.
Grandma Mayfair smacked her on the back of the head the same way she did those that she thought were fools. "Leave here with nothing, did you not here the warning. We are only leaving this place with your grandfather. Am I clear?" She bellowed.
