There were still in her room, Olivia tried to engage him in conversation and maybe she could forget everything going on.
"I'm not sure you'd make it to heaven, Dylan. You're just… morally too corrupt."
"Oh really?" he drawled, a mischievous glow in his eye. "You think so, Olivia?"
She arched her brow. "Well, I don't think so, I know so. The things you say, the things you do… Heaven would shut its gates before you even got any closer."
Dylan chuckled, stepping closer, his voice dropping low "Maybe I don't need heaven. I already have everything I want… right here."
She rolled her eyes, but her breath caught in her throat as he tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.
"You talk like I'm some kind of temptation. Or some kind of a devil wearing a wicked smile," he whispered, "but you, Olivia, you're the one that's going to get me damned."
"Then it's mutual," she replied. "We'll burn beautifully together."
