In the previous chapter: Boruto arrived in Konoha and successfully infiltrated it without revealing his true identity. He planned his strategy while observing Naruto and Jiraiya in one of their typical pranks. He managed to get close to them and ended up staying at Naruto's house, developing a bond with his young father without the latter knowing who he really was. Meanwhile, Boruto prepared a barrier for the battle against Urashhiki and manipulated the village's barrier to avoid detection. During a training with Naruto, the enemy appeared and tried to steal the young Uzumaki's chakra. However, Boruto, who until that point had been acting so as not to alter the past, dropped the pretense and prepared to face Urashhiki in a final fight.
At another point in the Land of Fire, in the area Boruto had prepared for combat, huge tree roots surrounded a large hill. At the base of this, a flat area stretched out, free of vegetation.
In a flash, Boruto and Urashhiki appeared on the spot. The sun was slowly descending on the horizon.
Boruto, still holding the fishing rod line, let go and looked at Urashhiki, who was floating in the air. His enemy retracted the line of his fishing rod with a flick of his wrist and looked around with an amused smile.
"I see you took the trouble to prepare this," he commented mockingly.
Boruto smiled calmly.
—I just made sure you didn't escape and that no one interrupted. It's nothing special.
Urashhiki descended lightly, examining the ground covered in three-pronged kunai. His smile widened with further amusement.
—Interesting… I hope you at least manage to entertain me, human brat.
Boruto gave a half smile.
—Only one will come out of here alive, Urashhiki.
The Otsutsuki let out a confident laugh.
—That seems fair to me. After all, if I eliminate you, no one will stand in my way.
The wind blew, lifting Boruto's cloak, who pulled out two three-pronged kunai from his sleeves.
Urashhiki swung his fishing rod and the line shot towards Boruto at full speed. The harpoon hit the ground in a horizontal motion, destroying everything in its path with a loud bang.
BOOM!
In a flash, Boruto appeared behind Urashhiki with impressive speed and threw a kunai straight at his neck. Urashhiki reacted immediately, swinging his fishing rod. The line headed towards Boruto, but Boruto disappeared and reappeared next to his own kunai, now pointed directly at Urashhiki.
The Otsutsuki smirked in amusement and tilted his body, dodging the attack by inches. He then raised his rod to strike Boruto, but Boruto disappeared again, materializing behind him in an instant.
With a swift movement, Boruto attempted to cut off Urashhiki's head, but the latter ducked, dodging the attack, and delivered an upward kick to the young man's chin. Boruto disappeared just before the impact and reappeared some distance away, only to vanish again and appear next to Urashhiki with the intention of pinning him to the ground with his kunai.
Urashhiki reacted quickly, blocking the blow with his fishing rod and pushing Boruto back. He then launched his chakra thread in his direction, but Boruto disappeared again, reappearing at the side and attacking relentlessly.
The two clashed in hand-to-hand combat. The clangs of metal echoed through the air, setting the pace of the fierce battle. Urashhiki, seeing that Boruto was giving him no respite, rose into the air and launched an attack with his fishing rod. The line and harpoon destroyed everything in their path, laying waste to the battlefield.
Boruto began to disappear and reappear at full speed, dodging every attack. In a flash, he appeared in the center of the field and chains of chakra emerged from his body, launching himself towards Urashhiki with great speed.
The Otsutsuki extended his rod and the harpoon collided with the chains, causing a metallic sound to echo throughout the place. However, more chains emerged and lashed out at him, forcing him to fly as he dodged the attacks.
In its wake, Urashhiki tore through and destroyed everything, causing explosions all over the battlefield.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
He moved through the air with agility, dodging the chains as the fight reached its climax.
Urashhiki began to rise higher into the sky, easily dodging the chains emerging from Boruto's body. Suddenly, he swooped down with a smile, heading straight for him.
At incredible speed, he appeared in front of Boruto and threw his fishing rod to finish him off.
Boruto smiled back and disappeared in a flash, reappearing a few feet away. His chains swung at Urashhiki again, but he reacted quickly, attacking with his fishing rod. However, the chains protected Boruto, forcing Urashhiki to rise again as he was chased.
Then, Urashhiki stopped in midair, looked at Boruto and smiled. He closed his eyes for a brief moment and, when he opened them again, a blue Rinnegan shone in his gaze.
Boruto, seeing this, intensified his attacks, throwing his chains with greater speed. However, Urashhiki propelled himself towards him with agility, dodging them without difficulty.
He appeared in front of Boruto in the blink of an eye and threw a kick. Boruto dodged the blow and counterattacked with a kunai aimed at Urashhiki's neck, but Urashhiki easily avoided it.
Without giving him time to react, Urashhiki moved his fishing rod and his line brushed against Boruto. In a flash, Boruto disappeared and reappeared in another part of the field.
Slowly, he looked down at his cloak, noticing a scratch in the fabric caused by the attack.
Then, he smiled and looked at Urashhiki with amusement.
Boruto took a breath, exhaled slowly, and focused. Then, he began walking towards Urashhiki, who watched him with amusement. The smile on Boruto's face didn't disappear until, in a flash, it vanished and he reappeared right in front of his opponent.
He quickly threw his three-pronged kunai, but Urashhiki dodged it with ease. Without wasting any time, he counterattacked with his fishing rod, but Boruto avoided the blow with agility.
At that moment, Boruto shouted:
—Katon: Hoin no Jutsu!
He raised his arm and from his hand an intense flame expanded, enveloping his arm and a gigantic flame took shape, expanding until it became a colossal hand of fire. With a downward movement, he threw it at Urashhiki, seeking to crush him.
Urashhiki reacted in time, sliding to the side and positioning himself next to the mountain that was nothing more than a tower of earth. The impact of the fiery hand against the ground unleashed an explosion.
BOOM!
From the cloud of smoke, Boruto performed seals with both hands and shouted:
—Suiton: Suidanha !
A powerful jet of water shot out from his mouth, directed at Urashhiki. The latter, without losing his cool, rose into the air, dodging the attack. However, the impact of the jutsu against the earth tower split it in two, causing another deafening roar.
BOOM!
Urashhiki smiled in amusement as he watched the mountain begin to crumble like a tower of earth. Without hesitation, he turned around and, with a single swing of his fishing rod, destroyed the other half, generating a new explosion.
BOOM!
Debris began to fall all over the battlefield. Urashhiki turned around again and fixed his gaze on Boruto.
He stared back at her with a defiant smile.
They both smiled with excitement.
The fighting was rising to an even higher level.
Urashhiki spoke with amusement:
—Brat, you're not bad… but it's not enough.
Sand began to flow out of the container he carried on his waist, which launched itself towards Boruto at full speed.
Boruto opened his eyes in surprise, and in a flash, he disappeared just before he was hit. He reappeared at another point on the battlefield, but Urashhiki, controlling the sand with precision, redirected it to chase him.
Boruto began to run through the forest's massive roots, moving at top speed as he used the Hiraishin to teleport between different points. The sand continued to follow him relentlessly, but Boruto didn't stop. In an instant, he disappeared again and reappeared on the other side of the field, perched on a giant root.
However, Urashhiki had already foreseen this and moved his sand to trap him. Boruto reacted immediately, performed hand seals and shouted:
—Suiton: Suishoha !
Around Boruto, a large amount of water erupted from the ground, forming an upward whirlpool that began to spread across the entire battlefield. Urashhiki's sand was swept away and his advance came to a complete halt.
Urashhiki clicked his tongue in annoyance. Meanwhile, Boruto, hidden underwater, observed his enemy carefully. Then, he formed a new hand seal and, in an instant, multiple clones appeared in different parts of the battlefield, submerged under the water.
Without wasting any time, the clones made a series of seals and then brought their hands to their mouths, closing their lips, leaving only a small space.
Suddenly, all the clones jumped out of the water at the same time.
Urashhiki looked at them and for a moment, his eyes widened in surprise.
From the clones' mouths, they fired small fireballs as if they were projectiles, forming a rising rain of fire that headed at full speed towards Urashhiki.
Urashhiki was shocked, gritted his teeth, and without saying a word, he extended his hand towards the attack. Lightning bolts of various types shot out from his palm and spread through the air, striking against the rain of fire.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Explosions echoed across the sky, sending shockwaves out in all directions. The air shook violently, and Boruto, watching from within the water, frowned and thought.
Apparently, he's using the techniques he stole from the Konoha shinobi… and also, their eyes…
At that moment, Momoshiki spoke from within with his usual lazy tone:
—Human… those eyes allow him to travel to the future and back.
Boruto was taken aback for a moment upon hearing his words and thought:
I see… so that's how it works. I guess time abilities aren't something exclusive to those who possess the elemental law with the Jougan…
Boruto made a sign with his hand and the water slowly began to disappear. The clones formed teams of three, and two from each team gathered wind in their hands, aiming towards Urashhiki. The remaining clone jumped over the other clones' hands and, at that moment, was launched at high speed towards Urashhiki, propelled by the wind.
The cloud of smoke from the explosions still hung in the air, making it difficult for Urashhiki to see. However, his eyes widened slightly, anticipating the next attack. Suddenly, through the smoke screen, several clones shot out at him, all wielding kunai and trying to cut him down. Urashhiki dodged them with ease as the clones sped around him.
Quickly, he moved his fishing rod and began attacking with the line and harpoon, destroying several clones that vanished into smoke. However, the attacks did not stop. Urashhiki clicked his tongue in annoyance and extended his hand, releasing powerful gusts of wind that cut through everything around him, finishing off the remaining clones in an instant.
The cloud of smoke had dispersed, and Boruto was still watching from the ground. Then, he made several signs with his hands and said:
—Katon: Endan no Jutsu—
A large fireball shot out of his mouth, heading towards Urashhiki. The remaining clones followed suit and began to launch more fireballs in his direction.
Urashhiki, in the air, glared at the flames as they approached. He began to fly, dodging the attacks as he descended at high speed, but the fireballs collided with the clouds, clouding the sky with the glow of the flames.
Boruto stopped and looked at the clones. In a flash, they disappeared and reappeared at the edges of the battlefield. Chakra chains shot out from their bodies and shot at Urashhiki at full speed. Seeing them, he tried to dodge them by flying again, but one of the chains managed to catch his foot and crashed him into the ground, causing an explosion.
BOOM!
A curtain of smoke rose from the impact.
At the center of the battlefield, Boruto watched the scene seriously. His cape fluttered in the wind, and then he raised his hand.
—Rasengan—
A chakra vortex began to spin in his palm. In a flash, Boruto disappeared and appeared within the cloud of smoke, slamming the Rasengan into Urashhiki.
BOOM!
A gust of wind swept across the field, raising a huge cloud of dust.
Within the cloud of dust, Boruto stood there, looking at Urashhiki, who had a hole in his stomach. However, at that instant, Urashhiki's body disappeared, revealing himself to be a log.
Boruto's eyes widened in surprise.
—A substitute.
Before he could react, Urashhiki reappeared in front of him and kicked him in the stomach.
The blow sent him flying at high speed, blasting him out of the cloud of smoke and crashing into the other end of the battlefield.
BOOM!
Boruto was embedded in the rocks and looked up at Urashhiki, who looked at him with a mocking smile before throwing his fishing rod in his direction.
Boruto reacted immediately, jumping out of the rocks and lowering his head, dodging the harpoon at the last second. The weapon hit the rock behind him, causing a loud bang.
BOOM!
The stones exploded into pieces.
Taking advantage of the distraction, Boruto disappeared in a flash, reappearing at another point on the field. However, Urashhiki swung the harpoon at full speed in his direction, forcing Boruto to react quickly.
He made a series of signs with his hands and hit the ground.
—Doton: Gaeshi Doroku —
A wall of earth rose between him and Urashhiki's attack.
BOOM!
The harpoon pierced the earthen wall, causing an explosion that shook the ground and raised another cloud of dust.
From the cloud, several three-pronged kunai shot out towards Urashhiki, who deflected them with his fishing rod. However, the kunai bounced off in different directions.
At that instant, Boruto suddenly appeared at his side, leaping into the air and spinning several times before delivering a downward kick.
Urashhiki put his forearm in front of him to block the blow, but the force of the impact was such that the ground beneath his feet cracked.
BOOM!
Urashhiki clenched his jaw as he felt the pressure of the kick.
At that moment, Boruto disappeared in another flash and reappeared on the ground, right next to a kunai. Without wasting any time, he spun around and launched a side kick that hit Urashhiki squarely in the torso.
The impact sent him flying into the rocks, causing another explosion.
BOOM!
The clones that were on standby sat in a lotus shape around the battlefield and performed a seal with their hands.
At that moment, chakra chains emerged from their backs and stabbed into the ground. The chains quickly expanded all over the place, snaking underground until they suddenly emerged again, soaring into the air.
The chains began to crisscross and descend, digging into the ground again until they formed a dome. A barrier rose around the battlefield, sealing the area.
Boruto looked at the barrier and thought:
"This will prevent it from flying and force it to stay on the ground."
A cracking sound could be heard from the shattered rocks. Boruto looked up and saw Urashhiki emerge from the dust, clutching his side where he had been kicked. His expression was filled with fury as he spoke in a subdued voice.
—Damn brat... How dare you?
Boruto let out a mocking smile.
—I see my kick worked. Where's your arrogant attitude?
Urashhiki gritted his teeth in anger.
—I will kill you... I assure you.
Wasting no time, his eyes lit up as he activated his Rinne Sharingan, which shone brightly, attempting to open a portal to escape. However, nothing happened. His expression turned confused, then alarmed.
Boruto smiled maliciously.
—I warned you... Here, only one of us will get out alive.
Urashhiki felt a chill run down his spine and frowned.
—What did you do, you bastard?
He tried once more, but the space still did not respond to his jutsu.
I can't open a portal... Damn.
Boruto smiled even wider and prepared to continue the fight.
Urashhiki glared at him and spoke with contempt:
—If you're in such a hurry to die, I'll grant you your wish.
Without wasting any time, the two of them ran at full speed towards each other. In a flash, Boruto disappeared and reappeared at the side of his opponent, throwing a punch straight at his face. However, Urashhiki dodged with precision and in an instant, his eyes changed to the blue Rinnegan.
The battle raged on all over the place, with explosions echoing across the battlefield. At this moment, Boruto was running at full speed between the large roots, while Urashhiki followed him from the air.
Suddenly, Boruto turned around and threw two kunai at Urashhiki. Urashhiki easily dodged them as he passed by them, but Boruto made a hand seal and exclaimed:
—Katsu!
The explosive seals attached to the kunai glowed and exploded with a deafening bang.
BOOM!
Boruto jumped and landed in the center of the battlefield, watching Urashhiki, who charged towards him, with burns on his body and fury on his face.
Urashhiki threw his fishing rod and the harpoon flew straight towards Boruto, trying to catch him. However, Boruto dodged the attack and disappeared in a flash, reappearing beneath Urashhiki with a three-pronged kunai wrapped in Futon chakra . He quickly threw a punch aimed at piercing his enemy, but Urashhiki reacted in time and moved his fishing rod, causing a new impact.
BOOM !
The shockwave separated them, causing Urashhiki to rise before descending to a safe distance from Boruto.
Boruto quickly performed several seals with his hands and said:
— Futon : Shinkujin .
He took out several shuriken and launched them at Urashhiki at full speed. They wrapped themselves in wind, transforming into wind shuriken.
Urashhiki prepared himself, dodging the first blast, but the wind shuriken disappeared and reappeared behind him. With his eyes activated, he managed to dodge the attack without looking, but the other shuriken began to move, teleporting with the Hiraishin that Boruto controlled.
Urashhiki began to move around the battlefield, keeping his eyes activated to the maximum so he could dodge the unpredictable attacks.
Urashhiki dodged the attacks, but at one point, a blast of fire came out from his belt and spread throughout the place, covering his body and stopping the wind shuriken.
At that moment, Boruto appeared next to Urashhiki and launched an attack with the kunai in hand to finish him off, but Urashhiki stopped his arm and counterattacked with a kick, restarting the fight.
Boruto dodged the kick and responded with a punch to Urashhiki's chest, who easily avoided it thanks to his eyes. He then raised his fishing rod and brought it down hard to smash it at Boruto, but Boruto instantly disappeared and appeared behind him, attacking again.
Urashhiki dodged the blow and threw his fishing rod horizontally, hitting Boruto in the abdomen and sending him flying against some rocks causing a loud crash.
—BOOM!
However, at the instant of impact, Boruto's body vanished into smoke, leaving a log in its place.
Urashhiki immediately turned around, realizing that Boruto was behind him, performing several hand seals.
— Futon : Shinkuha .
Boruto took a deep breath, moved his head horizontally, and launched a powerful wind slash from his mouth. Urashhiki rose into the air to dodge the attack, and Boruto's wind slashed across the battlefield, cutting everything in its path and causing a roar.
—BOOM!
Boruto looked at Urashhiki in the air and thought:
None of my attacks are reaching him, and I can't use more clones. If I use more, I'll run out of chakra... The barrier is consuming too much. How troublesome... I'll have to increase my speed and give an attack that he can't dodge, even if he wants to.
Urashhiki frowned at Boruto and spoke with annoyance:
—Damn brat, I didn't think you'd be so troublesome. I'll have to go after you seriously.
Boruto smiled and replied:
—You'll finally stop being so elusive.
Urashhiki didn't answer. He descended to the ground, took a breath, and then smiled.
—The game is over.
Boruto, with amusement in his voice, replied:
—It looks like we're about to start the second round.
Boruto smiled even more and took a fighting stance as his cape fluttered in the wind. He then thought:
I must make the chakra flow faster throughout my body and release it with pressure with each blow.
He concentrated, visualizing the flow of chakra running through his body with intensity. Little by little, his energy began to release, causing the ground around him to tremble. Small stones rose from the pressure.
Urashhiki watched him intently and focused as well, his eyes shining brightly. The air around them became heavy. They both looked at each other and smiled in amusement, preparing for combat.
At that moment, Boruto and Urashhiki disappeared and appeared in the center of the field, clashing their fists and causing a rumble throughout the place.
BOOM!
The ground beneath them cracked, spreading out in all directions. Boruto increased his speed even further and appeared behind Urashhiki, throwing a punch. However, Urashhiki reacted in time, turning and countering with a kick. Both attacks collided with force, generating another explosion of energy.
BOOM!
At that moment, Boruto and Urashhiki disappeared and reappeared at another point on the battlefield, clashing their fists again.
BOOM!
A series of explosions echoed throughout the place with each blow. Kicks and punches were exchanged relentlessly, further increasing the speed of the fight.
In the midst of the intense battle, Boruto jumped back and performed several hand seals.
—Suiton: Suidanha !
A powerful jet of water emerged from his mouth, splitting the battlefield in two, causing another roar.
BOOM!
Urashhiki managed to dodge it and, raising his hand towards Boruto, he released a series of rays that scattered all over the place before converging on him. However, Boruto disappeared in a flash and reappeared at another point on the battlefield. In that instant, chains of chakra emerged from his body and launched themselves at full speed towards Urashhiki.
The enemy began to fly low, dodging each attack as the chains dug into the ground, generating more explosions.
Boruto quickly performed more hand seals.
—Doton: Doryuso !
Sharp spikes of earth emerged from the ground, surrounding Urashhiki and leaving him cornered. However, he stopped just as the attacks were about to reach him.
He raised his hand and muttered:
—Ame- no- Subaruboshi no Mikoto Ryuuguu !
At that moment, out of nowhere, a large sphere with a purple and white glow appeared in his hand. Behind him, a huge energy eel of the same hue manifested, roaring fiercely as it held the sphere in its mouth.
All of Boruto's attacks were instantly destroyed, generating a deafening roar.
BOOM!
Boruto shielded himself with his forearms as the air current pushed him back. Debris flew everywhere, disintegrating in the wind.
Urashhiki looked at Boruto with a cruel smile and declared:
—It's over… Die!
The eel, as large as a Biju, lunged at Boruto with the energy sphere still glowing in its mouth.
Without wasting any time, Boruto performed several hand seals and shouted:
—Hiraishin: Joso Shosokudo!
At that instant, a huge seal appeared in front of him, stopping the eel's attack. A powerful wind raged across the battlefield as the seal in the air began to slowly absorb the beast, until it disappeared completely.
Urashhiki was shocked, unable to react in time. Several kilometers away, an explosion lit up the sky, followed by a rumbling sound.
BOOMMMMM!
On the horizon, a purple energy dome formed, expanding into the sky. The impact generated a violent gust of wind that swept across the battlefield, sweeping away everything in its path.
Boruto looked towards where the explosion occurred, his cape moving in the wind, and thought: That was strong. Thank goodness I sent him flying all the way there.
The explosion passed, and Boruto turned his gaze towards Urashhiki, smiling.
—Apparently, that's all.
Urashhiki stared at him with wide eyes in surprise, but his expression soon twisted into a frown. He slumped heavily to the ground, panting, as his Rinnegan deactivated and his eyes returned to normal.
Boruto studied him silently. "Looks like that attack used up all of his chakra… That's good."
Urashhiki looked up just as Boruto raised his arm. In an instant, a Rasengan materialized in his palm, spinning with overwhelming force. Without hesitation, he launched it straight towards his enemy.
Urashhiki watched her and prepared to resist her, but before he could react, the chakra sphere vanished into thin air, as if it had never existed.
Then, Urashhiki smiled and spoke:
—It seems I'm not the only one.
Boruto smiled back, and at that exact moment, Urashhiki felt a blow to his body that sent him flying, crashing into the nearby roots and rocks, causing a huge explosion.
BOOM!
Everything shook from the explosion, and the wind broke loose, sweeping across the place.
Boruto watched as Urashhiki slowly emerged from the rocks, holding his stomach. A swirl of chakra could be seen in his abdomen, clear evidence of the damage he had received.
It seems the fight is about to end… —Boruto thought, breathing heavily—. Although I still have chakra left, I'm still sending support to the clones and the barrier is consuming too much… They won't hold out for long.
Boruto brought his hands forward to make a seal, but stopped suddenly and thought:
If I summon more clones, the chakra I expend will multiply, and each one will consume even more… I can't afford that.
He clenched his fists and began to slowly walk towards Urashhiki, ready to end the battle once and for all.
Urashhiki glared at Boruto as he held his stomach. A trickle of blood began to flow out of his mouth.
—Damn brat… —he muttered angrily.
Without wasting any time, he moved his fishing rod and launched a direct attack. The harpoon shot towards Boruto at full speed, but he disappeared in a flash and appeared at Urashhiki's side, kicking him, sending him flying until he crashed hard into the little that remained standing on the battlefield.
BOOM!
Among the rubble, Urashhiki emerged with difficulty and fell to his knees on the ground. His breathing was labored and his gaze, full of hatred, was fixed on Boruto. But Boruto looked at him with total indifference.
In an instant, he disappeared in another flash and appeared right in front of Urashhiki.
"Rasengan!" he shouted, launching his attack.
Urashhiki opened his eyes in surprise as he saw the chakra sphere approaching his face. He tried to turn his head, but it was too late. The Rasengan hit him squarely and Boruto slammed him into the ground with brutality.
BOOM!
The battlefield shook and a thick pall of smoke rose from the explosion.
As the dust began to clear, Boruto could see Urashhiki still alive. Part of his horn was destroyed, his body showed serious injuries, but he was still breathing.
Boruto looked at him seriously and thought:
It's hard… but it's time to end this.
Boruto raised his hand again.
—Rasengan!
Another chakra sphere appeared in his palm, and without hesitation, he launched it at Urashhiki.
But at the last instant, Urashhiki's eyes opened, revealing his blue Rinnegan. With a swift movement, he launched a punch straight at Boruto's jaw, hitting him squarely and sending him flying.
The Rasengan slipped out of Boruto's hand and fell to the ground, causing an explosion.
BOOM!
The blow sent Boruto flying, crashing into what remained of an earthen tower in the battle zone.
BOOM!
The impact raised a huge cloud of dust and debris. From within the dust, Urashhiki waved his fishing rod and launched his harpoon towards the destroyed structure.
Boruto emerged from the crater just in time, jumping to the ground and dodging the attack. The harpoon hit the earth tower hard, causing it to collapse with another rumble.
BOOM!
Boruto glared at Urashhiki, who glared back angrily. But Boruto just smirked and started running straight towards him.
Urashhiki smiled.
—Genjutsu.
Boruto stopped dead, paralyzed for a second.
From within, Momoshhiki shouted urgently:
—Brat, be careful!
Boruto barely had time to react when he felt a sharp pain shoot through his abdomen.
Urashhiki's fishing rod harpoon had pierced it.
The genjutsu was broken, and Boruto fell to his knees on the ground.
Urashhiki looked at him with satisfaction.
—It's over, brat.
Boruto looked down at his abdomen, observing the wound. He then looked up at Urashhiki, who smiled as he prepared to pull out the harpoon and absorb its chakra.
But before he could do so, Boruto moved his arm with effort and tightly grabbed the harpoon thread.
Boruto's body trembled, but his grip did not budge.
Urashhiki tried to pull his fishing rod, but it didn't move.
"What…?" he muttered in disbelief.
Boruto looked at him with a defiant smile.
—I decide… when this ends.
At that instant, Urashhiki fell to his knees, his body paralyzed.
He tried to move, but couldn't. His eyes widened in surprise as he watched Boruto holding the rod in both arms.
Slowly, Boruto began to pull her towards him.
Silence stretched between the two as they struggled, each holding on to the fishing rod in a desperate tug-of-war. But the real battle was not over yet.
Urashhiki watched Boruto in frustration, feeling his body resist moving normally.
Damn… I can't control my body. That brat did something to me… The only attacks I took full force were his Rasengan. That must have been it. Plus, I feel like lightning chakra is coursing through every fiber of my body… Damn it!
He gritted his teeth, trying to force his body to expel Boruto's chakra, but his mobility was still limited.
Boruto, for his part, maintained a defiant smile, although in his mind he analyzed the situation seriously.
I got overconfident… I let my guard down again. First the fight against Kakashi, now against this guy. I can't afford to make any more mistakes in the future.
He looked away at the chakra thread that still connected him to the fishing rod.
This weakens the body in a brutal way… If he steals my chakra, I'm finished.
He looked up at Urashhiki and thought:
It won't take long for him to recover from the Rasengan… and when he does, his body will return to normal. If that happens, I'll be dead. I can't give him time.
He took a deep breath, his expression became serious, and in a firm voice he declared:
—Urashhiki… this is your end.
Urashhiki looked at him and let out a mocking laugh.
—You think so, brat? Look at you… You're the one who's on edge.
He forced his body once more and managed to lift one foot, although his other knee remained nailed to the ground.
Boruto smiled back. With one of his hands, he slowly made a seal and muttered:
—This is the real ending… Katsu!
At that instant, the three-pronged kunai scattered across the battlefield, the marks of the Hiraishin shining brightly, even those who were underground due to combat.
The Boruto clones, who until then had maintained the barrier, undid the jutsu, changed their hand seals and, in unison, said:
—Katsu!
Immediately, their bodies began to glow. At that very moment, the ground beneath Boruto and Urashhiki turned a deep red, mixed with orange flashes, starting the explosion and a rumble echoed throughout the place.
BOO ...
The shockwave shook the area with devastating force, raising a dome of incandescent energy.
The roar echoed across the battlefield. Trees were uprooted, rocks and debris flew in all directions, destroying everything in their path. The cloud of smoke and dust rose, darkening the sky and surpassing even the boundaries of the barrier that separated reality from battle.
For a moment, all that was felt was the tremor that shook the earth.
As the debris began to fall, the magnitude of the attack was revealed… A huge crater lay in the ground, a testament to the devastating impact.
Far away in Konoha, the ground shook for a moment. Jiraiya, who had been peeking into the women's baths with an amused smile, felt the vibration and his expression changed. He looked up in the direction of the tremor's origin, his brow furrowed and a feeling of unease running through his body , wondering what was happening.
Boruto found himself in a dark place. He could only hear his own labored breathing and the constant dripping of blood falling to some unknown point.
—That… was strong… damn… —he muttered before spitting out more blood, coughing with difficulty.
As he tried to catch his breath, his thoughts raced through his mind.
To think that I would go to this extreme in a fight… I thought my current strength was enough, but… it seems that nothing I do is enough.
His eyes, glowing a deep blue in the darkness, closed for a moment as he focused on his enemy's chakra.
—He's still alive… but his chakra is diminishing… —she whispered.
However, after a few seconds, his expression hardened.
— Tsk … he stopped descending. He regained consciousness…
The dripping of blood continued to echo through the air. Boruto let out a slight smile as he ran his hand over his mouth.
It's been a long time since I ended up in such a deplorable state... but...
His smile widened.
"I'm excited…" he murmured with a fierce glint in his eyes. "It was a good fight… My heart is still beating hard… and my desire to become stronger only grows…"
His senses immediately sharpened.
—It seems… that bastard is moving… Slowly… He's planning something.
Boruto placed a hand on the ground and took a deep breath.
—It's time to leave…
Boruto smiled maliciously and started laughing.
—Ha… ha… ha… Hahahahaha !
His laughter echoed in the darkness, laden with a mix of excitement and determination.
—It's time for the final round… —he whispered fiercely.
At that instant, a metallic sound broke the silence. A thin ray of light filtered through the darkness. Then, another identical sound was heard, followed by more flashes of light, gradually illuminating the place.
The chakra chains surrounding him in a spherical shape began to move, vibrating violently before being absorbed into his body.
The light finally revealed his silhouette: his torso was completely exposed, his clothes tattered and covered in blood. Deep cuts and burns ran across his skin, and the blood continued to drip without stopping.
Despite his condition, Boruto slowly stood up, a fierce look and an indomitable smile on his face.
Boruto looked around and noticed that the dust cloud had almost completely dissipated, revealing the devastation around him. He was in the center of a massive crater, the ground cracked and the marks of the explosion still burning.
He looked up in one direction and smiled mischievously.
Urashhiki was floating in the air, but his condition was deplorable. He was missing an arm and a leg, he could barely stand upright, and his cold gaze seemed empty, as if the life was slowly slipping away from him.
Hahaha… Apparently he didn't get away with it… but he's still alive. He's incredibly resilient.
Boruto thought this as he watched him, but at that instant, Urashhiki clenched his jaw in fury. His teeth gnashed in rage as his chakra fluctuated unsteadily.
"Damn… damn… DAMN YOU!" he roared, releasing a wave of wind that swept away the remnants of the dust cloud around him. "I swear I will kill you!"
His scream echoed throughout the area, accompanied by overwhelming pressure.
Boruto, unfazed, formed a seal with one hand. In a flash, a scroll appeared in his other hand, and without wasting any time, he unfolded it and struck the seals inscribed on it. The scroll fell to the ground, and in that instant, several Boruto clones emerged around it.
The clones stared at him in silence. Boruto performed a hand seal and they instantly disappeared in a puff of smoke, transferring their chakra to him.
At that moment, Boruto placed his hand on his chest and a green glow enveloped his hand, initiating an accelerated healing process. His wounds began to close rapidly, emitting steam as his flesh regenerated at an abnormal rate.
Urashhiki glared at him. With his one hand, he grabbed the container strapped to his waist and began to devour the chakra stored within it, the essence of the people whose energy he had taken. However, after a few seconds, the container was empty.
—This is not enough…! —he growled in frustration.
Without hesitation, he raised his hand to his face and, in a grotesque act, tore out his own eyes and swallowed them.
At that instant, a golden portal appeared in front of him, emanating intense energy. Urashhiki stepped through the threshold, and when he emerged on the other side, his body had changed.
His arm and leg had fully regenerated, but that wasn't all. His horns had grown and changed shape, his silhouette took on a more ethereal and monstrous appearance, and his white eyes now glowed with a bright yellow hue. In the center of his forehead, a golden Rinnegan opened, radiating an unknown power.
Boruto looked at him seriously… and then smiled.
"This… won't be easy."
He removed his hand from his chest and the green chakra slowly disappeared. He took a couple of steps forward, moving one arm to release the tension in his body while holding his shoulder with the other hand.
"A long time ago… I had my blood awakening. Since that day, I've been angry, restless… as if looking for an outlet. But today… today I feel freer." He looked up at Urashhiki with a crooked smile. "It seems… I just needed someone to take it out on."
Urashhiki glared at him, not quite understanding his words. But he didn't care.
"It's over!" he roared. "You're dead!"
Boruto smiled with mischief and amusement. His eyes shone brightly.
—Momoshhiki… it's time. Let's go all out.
From inside, Momoshhiki spoke with his arrogant and contemptuous tone:
—Human brat… show me a fight worth watching.
Boruto's right arm vibrated slightly. At that instant, blue markings began to appear on his skin, gradually darkening until they turned black.
"Until now, I only used the power that a human can reach… that was my limit."
He closed his eyes for a brief moment as the marks moved up his face.
"But from now on… I will use a power that I did not obtain by myself, but was given to me."
As he opened his eyes, his right eye glowed. The Jougan had been activated.
Boruto looked up at Urashhiki with determination and a confident, malicious smile.
-Come on…
At that instant, an overwhelming amount of chakra was released, unleashing a powerful gale that shook the battlefield. Urashhiki stared at him, his fury turning into a tense grimace.
Boruto tilted his head slightly, his voice ringing with a mix of emotion.
—It's time to get started.
Urashhiki watched him for a moment with a frown before speaking angrily:
—Damn Momoshiki… so you're still alive. Plus, you have the Jougan… damn it.
He slowly descended until he touched the ground, never taking his furious gaze off of Boruto. Boruto, in contrast, stared back at him with amusement, preparing for combat.
For a moment, the two stood in silence, sizing each other up. Boruto grabbed what little remained of his tattered clothes and ripped them off in one move, leaving only his gloves.
At that moment, the two of them disappeared.
A deafening boom echoed across the battlefield as their forearms clashed in the center of the arena.
BOOM!
The force of the impact created another crater, raising a dense cloud of dust as Boruto and Urashhiki stood firm, staring at each other intensely.
Boruto's Jougan shined brightly.
"Ryumetsu no Kiri…" (Space Dragon Slash).
Urashhiki reacted instantly, leaning his body to the side just as, in the direction Boruto had looked, the earth was split in two.
BOOM!
Without giving him a break, Boruto waved his hand and Urashhiki shot into the sky, dodging the attack. The ground where he had been was shattered by multiple invisible cuts, generating another rumble.
BOOM!
Urashhiki stood up and watched him cautiously.
"So it's the law of space that controls…" he thought seriously.
Boruto glanced at him. Urashhiki flew low and began to move erratically around the battlefield.
Boruto raised his hands and waved them as if he were slashing through the air. Urashhiki immediately began frantically dodging invisible attacks that exploded around him with every shift in space.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Feeling pressured, Urashhiki ascended even higher before extending his palm towards Boruto and saying in a firm voice:
—Ame-no- Subaruboshi no Mikoto : Gyokkou !
From his hand, a pink and purple chakra wave expanded rapidly before releasing multiple projectiles aimed at Boruto.
Boruto watched everything and, from his Jougan, began to emit electric sparks that spread throughout his right arm and said.
—Raiton: Tenrai no Hachi .
At that instant, Boruto raised his right arm, and a powerful lightning bolt descended from the sky, connecting with his body.
More lightning bolts struck around him, clinging to his arm like branches of a tree. The battlefield was illuminated by the unleashed energy.
With a quick movement, Boruto lowered his arm, aiming at Urashhiki.
Lightning shot out, and bolts from the sky struck all of the attacks Urashhiki had launched, impacting against the enemy projectiles and unleashing a series of consecutive explosions.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Urashhiki opened his eyes in surprise, barely able to react as the lightning bolts tore through the remaining attacks and headed straight for him.
The impact hit him full force.
BOOM!
The explosion lit up the air, causing the ground to tremble. A powerful gust of wind spread across the field.
When the lightning finally dissipated, Boruto looked at Urashhiki. His body had multiple wounds, but he was still standing.
—You've increased your strength a lot, but compared to me… you're still inferior, Urashhiki.
Urashhiki stared at him coldly. Suddenly, the wounds on his body began to release steam, and within seconds, his skin was intact.
"Let's see how long you last against a real Otsutsuki," he declared with a smile.
Boruto looked at him seriously and crossed his arms.
—I have a few questions for you… but I think they will have to wait.
Urashhiki didn't respond. He simply raised his hand and pointed it towards Boruto.
At that instant, a powerful black shockwave emerged from his palm, devastating the ground and wiping out everything around it.
The pressure of the technique advanced like an unstoppable wave, breaking the ground until it reached Boruto.
BOOM!
The impact raised huge rocks and a dense cloud of dust covered the area.
Boruto, suspended in the air amidst the chaos, watched the rubble head towards him.
" Kaminari no Isshin ..." he whispered.
At that instant, more electric sparks emerged from his right eye and spread throughout his body.
And in the blink of an eye… it was gone.
Boruto appeared behind Urashhiki, floating in the air with his body engulfed in lightning.
Urashhiki reacted immediately and spun around, but it was too late.
BAM!
Boruto's punch hit him squarely in the face, sending him violently into the center of the destroyed crater.
BOOM!
The ground shook with the collision, raising a dense cloud of dust.
Without giving him time to react, Boruto disappeared again and appeared a few steps from where Urashhiki had fallen.
With fluid movements, he vanished and reappeared at different points on the battlefield as he walked, getting closer and closer.
Until, in an instant, he emerged right in the center of the crater and launched a devastating kick at Urashhiki.
BOOM!
The impact shook the ground, creating another explosion of lightning that spread across the area. Rocks and debris flew in all directions.
Urashhiki, breathing heavily and spitting blood, lay on the ground, but suddenly, with a flash of chakra, he flew into the sky, moving out of Boruto's reach.
Once high up, he looked down, scanning the area for his enemy.
But then, a voice echoed from above.
—You're fast… but not fast enough.
Urashhiki opened his eyes in surprise and looked up.
Boruto stood above him, standing in what seemed to be a fragment of crystallized air, as if space itself had been fractured.
With a cold expression, Boruto spoke.
—You know… Karma has the ability to push one's abilities beyond their limit. It even increased my abilities with the Jougan… But I guess you already knew that, right?
Urashhiki charged at Boruto, flying straight towards him.
But in the blink of an eye, Boruto disappeared and appeared right in front of him, delivering a brutal punch to his abdomen.
BAM!
Urashhiki spat out blood from the impact, but before he could react, Boruto disappeared again and reappeared behind him, hitting him hard in the ribs.
—You know... I can't fly —Boruto murmured with a smile—, but I can walk.
At that instant, Boruto vanished once again and began moving at an impossible speed, reappearing at different points around Urashhiki, connecting a series of devastating blows to his body.
Finally, he appeared over him and landed a punch straight into his face.
BAAM!
The impact sent him hurtling down, crashing into the ground with overwhelming force.
BOOOOOOOOOO!
The earth shook violently and huge cracks spread throughout the area, creating a new crater on the battlefield.
In the air, Boruto disappeared and appeared on the ground, walking steadily towards Urashhiki.
The Otsutsuki slowly stood up, his face covered in anger. His gaze fixed on Boruto, who remained standing, surrounded by electric sparks.
Without wasting any time, Urashhiki stretched out his arm and generated a black bar, launching it with great speed towards Boruto.
Boruto tilted his head slightly, dodging the attack, but a thin cut appeared on his cheek.
Steam emerged from the wound and within seconds it was completely healed.
Boruto didn't take his eyes off Urashhiki for even a moment.
Then, calmly, he raised his palm… and from it emerged an identical black bar.
Urashhiki opened his eyes in surprise.
Boruto instantly disappeared and reappeared in front of him, throwing his slash with the intention of impaling him.
Urashhiki reacted in time, materializing another black bar to block the attack.
BOOM!
The collision unleashed an explosion of pure energy, further enlarging the crater beneath them.
Urashhiki and Boruto strained, pressing their black bars against each other as the ground beneath them began to crack.
Suddenly, Urashhiki separated his hand for an instant and raised it towards Boruto.
At that very moment, a powerful shockwave erupted from his palm.
BOOM!
The explosion launched Boruto into the air with brutal force, destroying everything in its path and leaving a trail of destruction around him.
The impact caused another deafening roar destroying everything in the direction Boruto was thrown.
Boruto was dragged by the attack until he crashed into the wall of the first crater, leaving a crack in the rock before falling to the ground.
Breathing heavily, he slowly stood up.
The electric sparks covering his body began to fade away little by little.
He began to pant rapidly.
Damn… —he thought, feeling his body tremble slightly—. My body is still too young… it is not well developed and cannot withstand so much pressure…
Urashhiki noticed Boruto's condition and raised his palm again with the intention of attacking.
Boruto stared at him and smiled slightly.
—It's too late... I already copied it.
He raised his own palm and continued:
—In the past, someone with the Rinnegan used it many times... now, I will do it.
—Shinra Tensei !
A powerful shockwave shot towards Urashhiki, but he immediately countered the move.
Two devastating waves advanced in opposite directions, destroying everything in their path.
And when they finally collided...
BOOOOM!
The collision point distorted, forming cracks in the ground and creating a momentary void. Rocks and debris briefly floated before being flung in all directions.
The rumble echoed across the field, shaking distant structures. Thick dust covered the sky, as the air vibrated with a deafening hum. Both Boruto and Urashhiki were propelled backward, forced to stabilize themselves in the air or on the ground. At the epicenter, a sphere of compressed energy flashed for an instant before breaking free, obliterating everything in its path and leaving a colossal crater.
The cloud of dust covering the battlefield began to slowly dissipate, revealing the figure of Urashhiki, who stood in the air with a look full of fury.
Without wasting a second, he rose even higher and stretched his palm towards the sky. His voice resounded firmly:
—Ame- no- Subaruboshi no Mikoto Ryuuguu !
Suddenly, a huge chakra sphere appeared in his hand, glowing with purple and white hues.
Behind him, the silhouette of a colossal energy eel emerged, its size rivaling that of a Biju. The creature roared ferociously, holding the sphere in its mouth as its body snaked through the air with overwhelming pressure.
From the ground, Boruto watched the scene seriously. He took a step forward, ready to execute several seals with his hands, but he paused for a moment.
Slowly, he raised his arm toward the sky.
Within seconds, a gigantic sphere of chakra began to form in his hand.
—Odama Rasengan!
The chakra vortex spun with tremendous force, expanding to an imposing size. However, its color began to change…
The Rasengan's signature blue turned into a deep red, with hints of black and white flickering like living flames, illuminating the entire battlefield with an ominous glow.
Boruto looked up, watching the jutsu carefully.
"This is Momoshiki's Rasengan... it's for Karma."
Boruto smiled and looked at Urashhiki, who looked back at him from the sky.
They both prepared for the impending clash.
Suddenly, Boruto swung his hand and the Rasengan disappeared in an instant. Without wasting any time, he began to move forward, increasing his speed little by little until he broke into a run, gaining momentum.
Urashhiki noticed his movement and, with a quick gesture, extended his hand in Boruto's direction. In response, the colossal chakra eel roared and launched itself at him, ready to attack.
Boruto reacted instantly. He jumped up and extended his hand back. Then, with a quick flick of his wrist, the red Rasengan reemerged, spinning with overwhelming energy.
The eel roared in fury and attacked with its massive energy sphere just as Boruto launched his attack.
BOOM!
The clash of both techniques unleashed a colossal explosion, releasing a shockwave that shook the entire battlefield.
Boruto smiled and continued to push his Rasengan, resisting the oppressive force of Urashhiki's attack. His feet seemed to slide on an invisible surface, as if he were standing on broken glass that trembled under the pressure of the confrontation.
Meanwhile, Urashhiki extended his hand firmly, pouring more chakra into his technique to gain ground.
The two remained in a fierce power struggle, waiting for the moment when one of them would yield to the collision of their attacks.
Urashhiki gritted his teeth as he sent all his strength into the attack, but he noticed something disturbing: Boruto was just smiling in amusement.
The collision of both techniques caused the ground to crack, spreading fissures in all directions. Boruto then increased the pressure on his Rasengan , but at the last second he jumped back, unleashing one last burst of power into his technique, as if he was letting it go to continue on its way.
At that instant, red and white chains emerged from his body, enveloping and protecting him. Urashhiki noticed this and, furiously, channeled even more chakra into his energy sphere.
The Rasengan pressed against Urashhiki's sphere, and in that instant, the two forces collided and compressed into a single point.
Then a loud bang echoed throughout the place.
BOO ...
The unleashed energy expanded in all directions, forming a gigantic sphere of destruction that swept away everything in its path. Wind, ground, and trees were torn apart, and the explosion surpassed the limits of the crater, making it even larger as the earth trembled violently.
Even the shockwave pierced Boruto's barrier, releasing a compressed wind that swept away trees and everything in its path. The nearby mountains were no exception: some were completely destroyed, while others suffered irreparable damage, with huge fragments breaking off their peaks.
While all this was happening, Boruto was inside the sphere of chakra chains. From inside, Momoshiki spoke with a reproachful tone:
—Brat, why didn't you send her flying again? You would have saved yourself all this trouble.
Boruto calmly replied:
—I don't have many Hiraishin marks these days. The only one that was far away I already used, and it was surely destroyed. The others are in the village… I don't have any outside of Konoha. If I cast it near them, they would immediately come looking for the problem and could change a lot of things. The only option was to hold it with what I had.
Momoshhiki clicked his tongue in annoyance.
—That's your problem... Always worrying too much.
Boruto smiled slightly.
—You're right. This is all a pain, but…
He clenched his fist tightly and added in an amused tone:
—It's fun to create so much chaos. I did the same thing a long time ago… and it was fun. —He let out a short laugh.
Momoshiki sighed in resignation.
—Whatever you say, human.
Outside the chain sphere, the cloud of dust rose into the sky. Smoke seeped out of Boruto's barrier as it showed signs of wear and tear. Cracks could be seen in the air running along the barrier, resembling broken glass about to collapse.
Boruto removed the chains that surrounded him, letting them return to his body. Then, he looked up at the sky, observing the barrier that hid the battlefield. Without wasting any time, he quickly performed a series of seals and, at the end, he struck the ground with his palm. The barrier began to repair itself instantly, and, after a few seconds, the cracks disappeared completely, hiding the place of the fight again.
He stood up, smoke obscuring his vision, but his Jougan showed him the scene clearly. He turned his gaze in one direction, and at that instant, another rumble echoed across the battlefield.
BOOM!
The ground fractured and a figure shot up into the sky. As he floated, his breathing was labored, almost frantic.
Boruto noticed his condition and smiled in amusement. He extended his arm in the same direction and with a single movement, a powerful wind cleared the cloud of dust, revealing the massive crater in the ground.
Urashhiki felt the gust of wind and, upon seeing Boruto, his face contorted in fury.
"Damn brat! Wretch!" he roared, launching himself towards him at full speed.
From his hand, he materialized a black rod and threw it with force. Instantly, the rod changed shape in the air, expanding in an attempt to catch Boruto.
Boruto reacted immediately, jumping to dodge the attack. In the same movement, he generated another black bar in his hand and prepared for combat.
Urashhiki did the same.
The shock was immediate.
The bars met in the air with a deafening clang, and both began to move at high speed. Kicks and punches were exchanged relentlessly, while dodging each other's lethal attacks.
His movements were swift and fluid, jumping and running all over the battlefield. Explosions echoed around him as Boruto launched multiple black slashes at Urashhiki, who responded in kind.
The sound of clashing metal echoed throughout the place, each strike faster and more precise than the last.
Boruto would disappear and reappear at the points where his bars fell, using them as anchors. But Urashhiki, anticipating his movements, would appear at his side with incredible speed, unleashing new attacks.
Each collision caused flashes and new explosions.
The speed between the two was amazing.
In an instant, Urashhiki rose into the sky and extended his palm towards the ground in preparation for his move.
Boruto read the attack immediately and launched one of his black slashes towards Urashhiki. However, he dodged it with ease and, with his hand still raised, sent a spatial wave straight to the ground.
Boruto disappeared in a flash just before impact.
BOOM!
The wave struck the ground with tremendous force, generating a devastating rumble. The pressure shattered the surface, opening massive cracks that spread across the battlefield.
At that very moment, Boruto reappeared above Urashhiki, right at the point where his black rod was, gripping it firmly in his hand.
Urashhiki reacted instantly. He spun in the air with a malicious smile and, stretching out his palm, he launched another spatial wave directly towards Boruto, ready to tear him apart on the spot.
But Boruto, with his Jougan shining brightly, made a movement with his hand, as if making a cut in the air.
SHHHT!
The shockwave was cut in two.
Urashhiki felt a sharp pain and looking down at his hand, he saw his palm beginning to split.
" Tch !" he hissed, moving his body quickly.
He barely managed to avoid being completely cut off, but a piece of his hand was torn off.
The cut continued its downward trajectory, impacting the ground and splitting the enormous crack in two.
BOO ...
Another explosion rocked the battlefield, raising a new wave of destruction that shook the entire ground.
Urashhiki grabbed his injured hand, but Boruto gave him no respite and, from above, he punched him directly in the face, making him descend at full speed. The impact caused another rumble on the ground.
BOOM!
Raising debris and dust.
However, Urashhiki reacted immediately. Like a bullet, he shot out of the crater with tremendous speed, appearing in front of Boruto with his face contorted with rage and screaming.
—Ame- no- Subaruboshi no Mikoto Ryuuguu !
Suddenly, a sphere of purple and white chakra took form in Urashhiki's hand, as a colossal energy eel emerged behind him, roaring ferociously.
Boruto was shocked, but before he could react, Urashhiki smiled maliciously and the sphere exploded, unleashing a devastating explosion.
BOO ...
The sky was covered with the expansion of energy, forming a gigantic sphere of destruction as a devastating wind raged in all directions. In a flash, Boruto appeared on the ground, his body covered in burns, his skin scorched and half of his torso charred, losing an eye in the process.
He spat out blood as he looked up at the sky, watching the explosion, his breathing labored. He placed his hand on his side to speed up his regeneration, but at that instant, Urashhiki appeared in front of him with a black rod in his hand.
Without giving him time to react, he threw the weapon straight at his head. Boruto dodged to the side, but the bar pierced his shoulder, piercing the charred flesh. He gritted his teeth, enduring the pain, and in a flash he was gone, reappearing at another point on the battlefield, taking distance.
Inside his mind, Momoshiki, who until then had been lying down lazily, suddenly became alarmed and spoke seriously:
—Brat, pay attention. What are you doing?
He stood up straight, raising his hands as his Rinnegan glowed brightly.
—I'm going to activate the Rinnegan to its fullest extent, but when the fight is over, you'll get a rebound. I'll use your chakra to heal you faster and also the cells you activated, but this will force your body to the limit. You might not be able to withstand it… but try.
Boruto listened to his words and nodded without saying anything. At that instant, Momoshiki activated his rinnegan, unleashing his power. Steam began to rise from Boruto's body as his wounds healed rapidly, healing his burned eye.
He stood up, his skin completely restored and his hair growing back. With a crooked smile, he looked at Urashhiki.
Urashhiki watched in amusement, but Boruto simply grabbed the black rod embedded in his shoulder and threw it to the ground. However, inside his body, the pain was unbearable. His cells were being forced to the maximum, pushing him to the limit.
Boruto took a few steps towards Urashhiki as the steam on his body dissipated. From within him, Momoshhiki's voice echoed out in warning:
—That's it, brat. You better kill him now… You won't be able to hold out much longer.
Boruto continued walking and, after stopping for a moment, looked up with a crooked smile, full of rage.
"You better get ready, Urashhiki… That hurt a lot." His tone was icy, his eyes reflecting an inhuman coldness. "When I kill you, I will use your body as a puppet… I will force you to serve me for the rest of your existence. I won't even let you die… even if you want to."
Urashhiki smiled in amusement.
— Hahahaha … Whatever you say, but you will be the one who dies in this place.
Boruto's eyes darkened with fury. In that instant, the cloudy sky turned completely black. Drops of rain began to fall and thunder rumbled loudly over the battlefield.
Urashhiki looked up, watching the sky cautiously. He then looked at Boruto, frowning, and thought.
—The Jougan…? Hmph … What is he planning?
Boruto spread his arms wide and his voice echoed with suppressed anger:
—I'll make you feel what I felt, Urashhiki... Raiun no Saika (Lightning of Catastrophe ) !
Suddenly, lightning fell from the sky like a relentless rain. Everything seemed to move in slow motion as the electricity traveled between each drop, descending to the ground.
A blinding flash illuminated the battlefield, turning the surroundings into absolute white. From a distance, it looked like a pillar of light falling from the sky.
Urashhiki, drenched by the rain, felt the shock run through his body in an instant. His muscles tensed and his face twisted in pain. And then, the storm roared with fury.
BOO ...
The impact of the lightning unleashed a massive explosion, covering the entire battlefield with a storm of lightning and devastating force. The thunder roared for a while before fading away, leaving a thick smoke in the air. The rain, relentless, began to cool the scorched ground.
Boruto slowly made his way through the mist, his footsteps echoing in the mud formed by the rain. In front of him, Urashhiki was on his knees, his body smoking and covered in deep burns. He was panting heavily, his scorched skin trembling in pain.
Boruto crouched down to her level and, without saying a word, took her mutilated hand, squeezing it tightly.
—Agh ! —Urashiki's scream broke the silence, his face twisted into a grimace of pure suffering. Blood gushed from the wound, dripping between Boruto's fingers, who showed not the slightest trace of mercy.
Urashhiki opened his eyes in fury and hatred, breathing heavily.
—D-damn you…!
Boruto held his gaze coldly.
—Do you think I'll let my guard down again?
He squeezed the wound even tighter. Urashhiki let out a heart-wrenching scream, his body shaking in agony.
Without letting go of his hand, Boruto jerked him to his feet, forcing him to his feet roughly. Urashhiki screamed again, his burned body unable to bear the torment any longer.
Boruto raised his other hand.
—Rasengan.
But it was no ordinary Rasengan. The spinning sphere glowed with a red and black color, with white tints flickering at its core.
Urashhiki, his eyes bloodshot with despair, gritted his teeth and, gathering what little energy he had left, placed his hand on Boruto's chest.
—Die!
A shockwave erupted from his palm, obliterating everything around him. However, Boruto didn't move an inch.
Urashhiki felt a chill run down his spine.
—N-no… impossible…!
Desperate, he generated another, more powerful wave, but the result was the same. Boruto remained motionless, holding him with an unbreakable grip.
Urashhiki opened his mouth, wanting to say something, but he could only see Boruto's crooked smile before he heard his last word.
-Bye bye.
The Rasengan pierced through his chest without resistance.
BOOOOOOOOOO!
A shockwave erupted from Urashhiki's back, pulverizing the ground and obliterating everything in its path. The evaporated rain turned into a dense mist, while electric sparks danced in the air.
Blood flew out in all directions, Boruto, with his hand still extended inside Urashhiki's body, felt the warmth of the blood slide down his arm, but he didn't react. His expression remained cold, empty.
With a sharp movement, he removed his hand from the shattered torso.
Urashhiki's body trembled. His breathing, ragged, turned into a stifled bubbling sound.
—I-it can't... be... —she whispered with her lips parted, but her voice was barely audible over the sound of the storm.
His knees gave way and Boruto let go of his hand and fell to the ground. His body began to crumble into golden fragments, slowly fading away until it returned to its original form. Boruto watched him coldly, without a hint of emotion in his eyes.
Slowly, with a sign of his hand he took out a scroll in a puff of smoke. He placed it on the ground and opened it, he began to form signs with difficulty. His movements were heavy, as if his body was on the verge of collapse, and he muttered in a firm voice:
—Fuinjutsu: Ikimono Fuin…
Urashhiki's body vanished into smoke, and a seal appeared on the scroll. With a last-ditch effort, Boruto put it away and, with a hand seal, made it disappear in a puff of smoke.
Boruto closed it and, with a simple gesture, made it disappear in a puff of smoke.
He stood still for a moment, feeling the rain hitting his face. His fingers clenched into a fist, still stained with blood.
The fight was over.
Boruto looked around, noticing the magnitude of the destruction left behind by their fight. The battlefield had become a massive crater, with a large trench stretching from one end to the other. All around them were rubble and smaller craters, scars from the fierce clash.
He let out a sigh and looked away in a specific direction. Then, with slow movements, he began to form hand seals, his body still feeling the ravages of battle.
—Fuinjutsu: Bokyaku no Ryoiki … Activate.
In Konoha, the village barrier glowed faintly for an instant. All the inhabitants stood still, as if time had stopped for a second, before resuming their activities without recalling anything unusual.
However, at Naruto's house, he remained unconscious in his bed, oblivious to what had just happened.
Boruto stopped looking in that direction and muttered to himself:
—That's all… I left two stamps for when I returned to the present.
With those words, he began to walk out of the place. However, with each step, he felt his body becoming heavier. The Jougan in his right eye began to slowly deactivate, and the Karma marks slowly dissipated from his skin.
When the karma was completely deactivated, he took a few more steps… until his body stopped completely.
His strength suddenly left him and he fell to his knees. A second later, his body gave way completely, collapsing backwards onto the ground.
His blurred vision focused on the grey sky. The rain continued to fall, soaking his motionless face.
Boruto closed his eyes and was left unconscious.
