Rachel set the door to remain open indefinitely. If Naamah actually regained herself she knew how to close and lock it. If she did not recover Solomon would never leave that place again and, if he lived, he would defend it to the end.
Unfortunately she could not worry about her friends. She could not worry about her current self. The information she was given was slipping from her like sand from a hand. She could actually feel things becoming a bit fuzzy. Information that she needed to get to back to the castle quickly the rest was inconsequential.
She felt a sense of urgency like she had never known. She had known the knowledge that she was given would slip away from her soon and she was not going to remember a single bit of it, but, for some reason, she thought that she had more time. She took things for granted.
