"Alright," Lilith and Jackson both said in unison as they took their places.
The crew stood still.
"LIGHTS, CAMERA… ACTION!" the director shouted.
Instantly, Lilith's entire energy shifted. Her face turned cold, her eyes blank, and her posture became elegant and poised like a sculpture suddenly alive. Every inch of her now belonged to Evelyne Myre.
Jackson stepped forward, sliding into character as Adam. His tone was heavy, his brows drawn low in frustration.
"You should stop pretending to be something you're not," he said, voice laced with bitterness. "I couldn't even recognize you today… You can't just force feelings on me, Evelyne."
Evelyne tilted her head slowly, a mocking light flickering in her eyes.
"It's easy to talk about letting go," Evelyne said softly, her voice calm but sharp. "But what if your precious Jess fell for someone else… and asked you to walk away?"
She stepped closer.
Adam's face froze. For a second, he faltered.
