The Fisherman said without hesitation.
"Let's just be done with it then."
Liu Zheng shrugged.
"If you could act like a strict father and raise the Sea Girl like a pet through discipline, then fine. But the key problem here is, you can't even leave this place."
"Expecting a few harsh words and playing the part of a father to make an already independent adult daughter obey you? How's that supposed to work?"
He paused and continued.
"So, what do you suggest?"
The Fisherman fell silent for a moment and said with a sullen face.
"Change your attitude. I'm not saying you need to treat your family like a warm spring breeze, but at least stop showing off that greasy, condescending demeanor of a pond owner. She's your only family. She's not one of your fish."
Liu Zheng said.
"I've always been like this. I don't know how to change."
The Fisherman replied gloomily.
