On the distant mountain peak downstream of the river, there indeed was a signal tower.
Sure enough, Lu Yumei received the photos and video, and deeply touched by their beauty, she turned her head and saw Liu Zhizhong not far away, smiling gently at her.
"Mrs. Lu, let's head back home. If you're reluctant to leave, we can come again next time!"
His voice, tender and magnetic, was a balm to a woman's ears.
Lu Yumei took a deep breath, looked around once more, then nodded and said with a light smile, "Is everything packed up?"
"Yeah, everything's packed. It's just my mother-in-law's mood that's not quite settled."
This little bit of humor required a dash of wisdom from life itself.
