They were followed close behind by the Asian Games convoy, with neatly arranged barricades on either side. On the spacious cement road, aside from the staff members running alongside, only their trio was seen sprinting forward, proudly carrying the Asian Games Torch aloft.
The route for the torch relay passed through a county town near Li City, named Xiaolou. Even though it was a workday, the sides of the road were still lined with citizens gathered to watch the excitement.
