"So Qingfan,"
As the only key high school in the district, the principal of Licheng Middle School held almost as much sway as the director himself. Recalling Principal Song's urgent tone on the phone, Guo Youcai couldn't help but feel curious.
"It's nothing much. My family runs a small business and is planning to donate some money to the school, so they sent me to discuss it."
"Oh, I see." Guo Youcai nodded in understanding, careful not to lose his teacherly authority in front of his students.
A moment later.
"Huh?"
Seeing Guo Youcai's suddenly shocked and stunned expression, Xu Qingfan nodded slightly to affirm that it was indeed the case.
"Mhm."
"Uh... haha, well that's great! No wonder Principal Song was so eager to call me." Realizing his lapse in demeanor, Guo Youcai immediately reverted to his authoritative teacher expression, the look of someone whom students could learn from.
"Indeed."
