This was situated between mountain ranges, originally intended to be an outdoor den constructed by magical beasts.
The den was created by piercing through a cliff, and its interior structure resembled a wasp's nest, with room-like chambers neatly arranged inside the cliff, connected only by a stone path. The scale was not small—it might even be mistaken for the secret base of some covert organization.
Indeed, it had become the secret base of a certain covert organization.
Inside, there were no magical beasts, nor any fierce forest animals, only people. Some were cloaked in black robes standing guard and on standby, others were knocked out and detained in a chamber—it was clearly a nefarious place.
In such a dark secret base, a young man, wearing a mask that only covered the upper half of his face, exposing the lower half to the air, was walking along a stone path.
