Altoria had ceased to struggle, maintaining the posture of being held up by the neck by Reiger, staring blankly at the bloody slaughter below, as if she had lost her soul.
She naturally recognized those fairies below.
They were all villagers from inside Tintagel, the same neighbors she would often see.
Now, they were killing each other amidst great fires, a sight that truly shocked Altoria to the core.
"Why must this happen?"
"How could this happen?"
"Everyone, please stop!"
As Altoria chanted, she began to struggle once more.
Unfortunately, Reiger didn't let her go, and even his eyes, as he watched the village below, were filled with indifference.
"See?" Reiger said expressionlessly, "This is the nature of fairies."
Such an event had also occurred in the original story.
